within the Senior School. The first step in this process involved updating the
College’s Colours system. Efforts have now been made to make the Colours criteria
more transparent, but most importantly more accessible to the students and wider
community. Consequently, all information will now be permanently placed on the
College website under the College Publications sections. The Colours system
supports the College’s holistic approach to education by recognising efforts in five
categories: Academic, Leadership, Community and Endeavour, Creative and

Year 4 Science Investigations
Year Four has been searching for real world examples of the scientific processes they have
been studying in class. While at Malua Bay Beach the Year Fours hit the jackpot! As we were
examining the Northern end of the beach the students found evidence of e
weathering. We found piles of rocks on the beach that had fallen from the cliff face.
examination, the students found that the sea had smoothed the rocks that were near the
water, while the boulders that were high and dry below the cliff

After much discussion we decided that some of the houses might eventually fall into the sea as
the cliffs slowly erode. While looking at the erosion we stayed clear of the cliffs because large
rocks could have fallen on us.
In our travels we also found a spot where the road ran through a beautiful cutting.
