It appears confidence has risen and Europe has bounced back after some saddening events in the later parts of 2017. A huge thank you to all who attended our Small Group Tours evening and we hope those attending gained some value from the event. It would be remiss not the mention the huge effort put in by our staff over the last two months. The office has been under extreme pressure to try and keep up with the work load, as you can imagine many hours are required in Itinerary planning for many holidays, and in this age we all seem to require answers quickly. Thanks girls for keeping your cool heads and happy faces and working so diligently to ensure clients needs are met. Our office has been seeking the services of a full time experienced travel consultant for some time to assist in relieving some pressure off the team. Welcome We are hopeful that it is not to long before we see Tania Reilly back in our office. Tania has been off on maternity leave. Whilst it was lovely to have Amanda Kennedy back in the office for a short term at the end of 2017, Amanda has also decided to add to her lovely brood with another child due in April,2018. Sadly we farewelled Melinda Douglas from our office at Christmas time. Melinda has been an invaluable team member of the office, and whilst a wonderful consultant initially, Melinda has been working out behind the scenes with Lynne Cooper over the last few years. Mel joined the business in very early days, left for a while when her son Jake was born (back in the days before maternity leave!) returned again for several years. Leaving again to pursue a course in Forestry, to return again and work another 10 years and we refuse to say farewell this time - just in-case!! We do wish Mel every happiness as she ventures out to find a new career and are indebted for her service. This quarter, we thought we would outline a perspective that makes Cuba such a one-of-a-kind destination. Cuba is a draw for showcasingits vibrant Caribbean culture, colonial architecture, with a sea of blue that's never far away from wherever you stand

To only opening its intriguing past to tourists in 2013, Cuba offers an immersive, enthralling and educational experience with the localCubans getting giddy by welcoming compelled international visitors. The island of Cuba is a hidden gem filled with revolutionary history, vibrant Caribbean culture and a breadth of colonial architecture. Alongyour journey you pass through glorious countryside, rich with exotic birds and flowers nestled in the Escambray Mountains. As theaccommodation is becoming a rising commodity, local stays in casas and home-stays are becoming more frequent, where there is noreplacement for the Cubans showing you their famous dancing culture. The government-controlled country is an emerging draw for tourists, with its people reverberating a feel-good factor. Visiting Cuba is like stepping back in time as little has changed over the past 50 years. To fully enjoy the Cuban experience you shouldtravel with a willingness to expect the unexpected and, above all, an adventurous spirit. In our opinion go now and experience this uniquedestination before it changes.
