Parents Area We have decided that the triangle of land by the electric substation as you walk into school might be a good place to put benches where you might sometimes wait for your children. If this becomes a parent’s area I wonder what else you might like there? It might be plants, vegetables or fruit or other ideas. You may even want a community garden for parents. If you are interested then please share your ideas with Mrs Verity, Mrs Blythe or myself. Both basic and wacky ideas would be appreciated! Uniform, Uniform Orders and Vouchers for Free School Uniform You may be thinking about your child’s uniform for September. Here is a reminder of what they need to be wearing. Reception to Year 2 Royal Blue Crew neck Sweatshirt or Cardigan Any colour polo shirt (except white or grey) Black or Grey trousers, skirt or pinafore dress Blue checked dress / Black or Grey long tailored shorts (for summer) Black shoes (no colours, patterns or shapes and no trainers) Year 3 to Year 6 Royal Blue V-Necked Sweatshirt or Cardigan Pale Blue short sleeved shirt Tie (only available from school) Black or Grey trousers, skirt or pinafore dress Blue checked dress / Black or Grey long tailored shorts (for summer) Black shoes (no colours, patterns or shapes and no trainers) If you want to order your items through school, please complete order forms and return to school by Wednesday 17 th June in order to receive it before the summer holiday. If you are entitled to Free School Meals please bring proof of entitlement to the school office and you will be issued with a voucher. The voucher will entitle you to 2 sweatshirts or 2 cardigans and 1 tie (tie’s can only be purchased through school). You can use this voucher at

Items of uniform will only be issued if you have the voucher with you.
Please check your free school meal entitlement by calling the Benefits Service on 01274 432772 and choose option 3.

School Photographs
The photographer is coming into school on Tuesday 9th June to take individual and sibling photographs. Please make sure your child is in full school uniform. As previously mentioned we are using a new photographer who will produce an ECO pack of your childs photographs. If you would like to view a sample ECO pack please call in at the school office. The Eco pack costs 10 and includes 1 large, 2 medium and 2 small photographs as well as 4 passport size photographs and a bookmark. The Eco pack does not include the cardboard frames
Bradford City Fire Memorial FundraiserOn Friday 8th May, children and staff were invited to come to school dressed in Bradford City colours to raise money for the Bradford Infirmary Burns Unit and a Sports Kit for school. We raised 174.79 - thank you for your donations. Holidays 2015 2016
Your child will be bringing home a term card for next year. These are handy to keep in purses, wallets or on notice boards at home. Please try to book any family holidays during the school holidays. Instrumental / Vocal Tuition
Is your child musical? The Music and Arts Service provide tuition in stringed instruments, woodwind, brass, percussion, piano and keyboard and vocal tuition. If you would like more information contact 01274 385555. Lessons range from 55.00 per term to 153.00 per term depending on group size. Milk
If your child pays for milk, the cost for the final term (13th April 17th July) is 9.50. StaffMiss Benson and Mr Lee will both be leaving us at the end of this half term. We wish them both well in their new jobs. I hope you all have a nice break. We return to school on Thursday 4th June. Yours sincerely
