Glorifying and praising God as we accomplish His work, by sharing the truth about eternal life;

becoming one in the body of Christ, teaching them Biblical principles and being set apart for the ministry

of God.

Pastor’s CornerAllow me to share a bit more from my past. I was married to my wife July 23 2005. Both my wife and I had just finished our under graduate degrees, hers in Psychology and mine in Biblical Studies, and I was accepted to go one to my masters and she was setting out to work. We moved to Nova Scotia, I started school and Sheena found a good job that she loved. Everything was going well for the first

couple of months. It was then that we ran into problems with Sheena’s work visa. When the problem was discovered we called the proper authorities about the problem and they informed us that Sheena would have to stop working while the problem was addressed. The problem took a little longer than we anticipated and as time went on and on our saving dipped lower and lower. By the time Christmas came that year our bank account read $2.78. I remember it well. In the New Year things didn’t get a whole lot better. At the worst of it I gave Sheena the last of the food and end up going three days with nothing to eat. Here I was, studying for the ministry, following what Jesus called me to do, doing the best I can and everything seems to be falling apart. There was no money for bills coming in except for the few odd jobs I could find. The food was running out and most the people that new of the problems we were suffering from gave a simple ‘we will pray for you.’ Through it all though I learned a very important lesson, ”Jesus was still watching over us.” Even though our accounts were low every bill seemed to be met. When times got the absolute worst there seemed always to be someone there to aide us. Every one of us will face times in our lives when nothing seems to go right. Even when we are trying to do what Jesus desires for us to do things can seem to in the wrong direction. There is a Biblical truth that we must never forget and that is that Jesus told us that He would never leave us. Even when we do not feel that He is close or understand what is going on, Jesus is still watching over us. We need to hold on to that truth and not allow our circumstances to dictate to the reality of the presence of Jesus. In the end, when we look back, perhaps even many years from the incident we will acknowledge that Jesus was watching over us, in control, and providing exactly what we needed.

Sunday Evenings

Sunday evenings are something to come and experience. They are quite different from Sunday Morning in both format and content. Sunday Evening is called our interactive service in which you get the opportunity to interact all throughout the service. We start with singing together and sharing testimony. Then comes the lesson portion of the evening. Here we are going through the books of the Bible and you get the chance to ask any questions at any time. Following the teaching portion we get the opportunity to pray for each other. Share you prayer requests here. Come enjoy a great evening every Sunday at 6:00pm
