As a rising star in the world of IT and a former student of AdiShankara Institute of Engineering and Technology (2008 batch)I had already started establishing my own enterprise while inthe second year my of college life. I was still making throughcollege, shuttling back and forth attending classes while

simultaneously setting up offices in the countries. I was lucky that my professorsunderstood the situation and were encouraging.”AJAJAJAJAJAAAAAY NAMBIAR-(Y NAMBIAR-(Y NAMBIAR-(Y NAMBIAR-(Y NAMBIAR-(CCCCCSESESESESE 2007-11 batch) 2007-11 batch) 2007-11 batch) 2007-11 batch) 2007-11 batch)NT Global Solutions, Rwanda

College was especially sweet because of the positive, hopeful atmostphere. It inspired me to think differently.I made all the friendship that is supporting me throughmy entire life from Adi Shankara. I got all the guidancethat is spreading light to my life from this college. Its

like a know other time in my life.

It gives me immense pleasure to be a part of this great institution. On behalf of the Adi Shankara alumni association, I would liketo take this opportunity to thank the editorial team for theirefforts in putting together such a refreshing newsletter. My association with Adi Shankara goes back to 15 years and I

am proud to be a part of the alumnus community who stay connected to form astrong alumni network across the globe. Our institution provides a platform for young talent to foster creativity andinnovation thereby making the best use of the opportunities ahead of them. I’dlike to end with a famous quote adapted from Winston Churchill, ‘Success is notfinal, Failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts’ Wishingsuccess and good luck. Thanks

To me, Adi Shankara has not just been an alma materwhere I earned a degree in engineering. Four well spentyears in this college has instilled a lot of virtues andvalues in me that will come handy for a life time. Inaddition to academic excellence, this campus offers a

lot of avenues to groom the talents of its students. Excellent supportfrom faculties and management makes it easy for students to pursuetheir interests while ensuring that academics are second to nothing.

As proud alumni, I testify this from my own experience. During mycollege days we were able to start an IEEE branch in our campus withthe wholehearted support of our principal S G Iyer sir and otherfaculties. It’s really great to see the growth of the branch driven bymany active students over the past 3 years. Annual techno culturalevent ‘Brahma’ is one of the flagship events hosted by the college andthe role played by students to organize this fest is huge. I proudlyrecollect my role in hosting the event in 2013 and I believe suchopportunities to groom my leadership skills have largely helped me inmy career. None of the activities I mentioned impacted my studies andI graduated securing third rank in electrical engineering. It wouldn’thave been possible without the relentless support and blessings of myteachers. I sincerely thank all my teachers in ASIET for having givenus so much love and support. Without them, we wouldn’t have beenable to step out with so much courage and confidence to face the worldand live our lives the way we do.
