President’s Message:
‘An Eventful Year’ Our 20-year anniversary season is rapidly coming to an end, but we are not done yet. In the last few weeks we participated in our inaugural First Tee Girls Golf event (see picture below); raised $2,255 for LPGA-USGA Girls Golf at our Fall Finale fundraiser; held a new member social event at Top Golf; and finalized plans for the upcoming Solheim with a Twist event and volunteer recognition dinner. Most of our 2014 leagues are finished for the season and we are transitioning into the Fall & Winter leagues at Top Golf.

October marks the end of the official active golf season in the Chicagoland area (remember to continue posting your scores through October 31st) and it marks the end of the term for your 2014 board. Please join me in thanking all of the board members for their hard work and dedication in making the season a success.
Chris Busch, Cindy Freeman, Cris Marik, Julie Suh, Kelly Storm, Patricia Tripar and Sue Miller; thank you ladies, it was a pleasure working with you all. And for most of us we get to do it all again next season along with our new Marketing Director Stephanie Lippian. Welcome aboard Stephanie. Furthermore I would like to thank all of the members who donated their time by volunteering for leagues, events and activities, and let’s not forget our partners and sponsors for their generous support. I’m not naming specific names here because there are so many of you and I’ll forget some-one then I’ll get into trouble J. It is through your support and efforts that we are able to offer our members such a wide variety of golfing and networking opportunities.
