UN SDG 7: AFFORDABLE AND CLEAN ENERGY

Our weekly focus on one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals continues. There are optional

activities for the children to do. What I would like to ask parents to make mandatory is a discussion at home each week about the particular goal. This

week’s goal is #7 Affordable and Clean Energy. Information about it can be found here and here. Thank you to Yeppi (Y5) and Leni (Y6) who have

sent in excellent posters from last week’s SDG on clean water.

Mr. Hammond and Mr. Start are right on track to meet

(and even exceed their goal) of running 600km combined during the month of May. Including this week’s runs, Mr. Start has covered 179km and Mr.

Hammond 117.8km! You can support their efforts by donating non-perishable food items to Caritas Georgia. Donations will be received at the main entrance at our

school during normal working hours - 9.00am to 5.00pm for the entire month of May. Students, parents and staff are also encouraged to join

the challenge by sharing their runs, walks, hikes and even cycling trips! Please send photographs of your efforts to Ms. Tatiana for our social media.
