ACS Congratulates our Community Youth Volunteer of the Quarter, Ms. Julia Turro

Ms. Julia Turro was selected as Youth Volunteer of the Quarter for the 4th Volunteer Quarter, January-March 2014. She was surprised by her peers, Volunteer Supervisors, her parents and community mem-bers at the CYS Services Youth Center on the 16th of May.

Julia was nominated for this prestigious recognition for her out-standing dedication as a volunteer for CYS Services. As a vital mem-ber of the CYS Services Youth Center, Ms. Turro assisted with deco-rating, cooking, serving food and beverages, and the clean-up effort for Youth Center dances. She also played an integral part of the an-nual Army Youth Program Rating Scale (YPERS) by spending hours completing the required questionnaire. Ms. Turro demonstrated self-less service through her hard work at Youth Center events and set a good example for all youth within the USAG Bavaria, Garmisch Community to emulate. Her gracious contribution of time, service and talent, helps to ensure continued excel-lence within the CYS Services Youth Program. On behalf of a grateful community, we thank her for her efforts!

Every quarter, ACS recognizes a community adult and youth volunteer who have gone above and beyond the call of volunteerism. Thank you to ALL of our community volunteers who work tirelessly to help improve our pro-grams and our Garmisch quality of life.

Contact the Community Volunteer Coordinator, Meghan McAndrew, for more information on how you can nominate a special volunteer, DSN 440-3777 or CIV 08821-750-3777.
