VISIT FROM GOOGLE EXPEDITIONS

Secondary students were fortunate to get a visit

from google expeditions. Conor and Darren; Google

Expedition Associates led teachers through the

technology who led students through a cultural journey of discovery.

Through smart phones, an APP and a box known as Google cardboard,

students travelled to the 7 Wonders of the World in a virtual reality adven-

ture.

3 - The Colosseum of Rome

4 - Chichén-Itzá

5 - Petra

6 - Rio de Janeiro

7 - Machu Picchu

Emilio Smedley, Isaac Witherden and

Mollie Wayland will be representing

the school this Thursday at the annu-

al ‘Crawley Inter-School Public

Speaking Contest’. The students will

be composing and delivering a ten

minute speech on the topic of de-

mocracy to a panel of judges and a

secret celebrity guest! If you would

like to support The Gatwick School,

the event is this Thursday at 6pm

in the Crawley Civic Centre. Best of

luck to our students!
