EPSOM PALM PRESS
Dear Parents,
The 3/4 students had a wonderful day Tuesday
learning about the creek environment from the
Huntly Primary School students. Thank you to the
Huntly staff and students and to the parents who
helped out for a great experience.
Thanks also to Mrs Brunswick and Mr Saddlier for
their organisation of the district sports that were
held yesterday. A big thank you to our parents who
also helped on the day. Congratulations to our
children on their sportsman like behaviour and
their enthusiastic participation during the day.
As you know, for all excursions a signed permis-
sion form is needed. Unfortunately, a number of
children did not return notes on time. In the future
children who do not return permission forms will
not attend these events and phone calls will not be
made requesting permission on the day.
Thank you
Kerry McGuffie

Epsom Variety Show
Tuesday , September 18th—
No tickets sold at the door…... The School Concert will take place next week
Tuesday, 18th September at the Connect Church
Hall in Solomon St, East Bendigo, off Murphy
Street. It will commence at 7:30pm sharp. All
current students at the school are in the concert,
therefore they do not have to pay.
Children need to be dropped at the Hall at
7.10pm.
If your child is unable to participate, please see his
or her teacher as soon as possible.

be sold on a “first in, best dressed”
basis. CAST PARTY FRIDAY 21ST SEPTEMBER
It is our tradition to hold a Cast Party for the chil-
dren after our concert. The Cast Party will be at
recess Friday, 21st September.
We ask that children bring the following items for
sharing:
Grade 5/6 – 1 litre bottle of soft drink
Oldest in the family of all other grades – small
plate of savouries (such as vegetables and dips,
kabana, cheese, dry biscuits), fruit or sweets
(cakes, biscuits and slices).
PLEASE—NO NUTS Please don’t send anything that requires heating as
we don’t have the time or space to heat things
with ease. This party is for a playtime snack only,
so large quantities of food are not required.

GRADE 3/4D COSTUME REQUIREMENTS I am desperately seeking capes for the school
concert. My preference is for the blue Vixens
netball capes that were given to Gr3/4 children
earlier this year. However I would be grateful for
any type of cape - think Superman, Batman etc.
Please bring named capes to the Gr 3/4 ASAP.
Mrs Gill Davey Grade 3/4 Dress Requirements -
Aussie Spectacular Children are required to wear
their school polo shirt or a red t-shirt combined
with jeans or black pants. No track suit pants
please.
