WELCOME TO THE FEBRUARY NEWSLETTER.This is my first opportunity to write to you in 2018 so I would like to thank Margie and the Ashburnham Club for a delightful Christmas lunch and the Needham Market Community Council for inviting me to the Community Carols. Besides the professionalism of ‘The Windjammers’, the young Choir from Bosmere Community Primary School were totally entertaining and brought a wide smile to everyone’s face. It’s quite hard to remain optimistic in these cold, wet, grey days of January but the work of your Town Council to improve facilities in the Town continues despite red tape
and bureaucratic frustrations. There are no obvious indications that a number of very positive projects are thoroughly underway (including the Sports Courts at the Community Centre), just waiting for final details to be completed and funding to arrive from MSDC.I’ve been asked to make an appeal to you good souls. If you have an hour (or even two) spare a month to deliver a few copies of this Newsletter in your street or neighbourhood, our deputy Town Clerk would really appreciate hearing from you (Kelaine’s telephone number is in the column facing this foreword).
On a personal note, I hope you keep an eye out for the advertisements concerning the ‘Mayors Quiz Night’ on Friday 16th March. We had a wonderful turnout last year where all the participants were genuinely amused and entertained. This is a really important evening to help raise funds for our local voluntary ‘First Responders’. Please come along as an individual and join a team or even better bring a ‘Team’ of your friends. Keep Smiling!Cllr Xy Stansfield Needham Market Town MayorChairman of Council

Needham Market W.I.We hope your Christmas and New Year celebrations went well and 2018 is off to a good start for you and yours. Our annual meeting in November went well and we are very pleased to welcome two new members onto the committee - we are looking forward to their ideas and input over the forthcoming year. We celebrated the Queen and Prince Philip’s wedding anniversary with a tea party at the centre and, thanks to the bowlers who were playing in the main hall and joined us for tea and cakes, we collected £73 for EACH - many thanks to all who contributed.
Our December meeting was ably organised by the members with delicious refreshments and the demonstration of fused glass ornaments was fascinating. Several members have booked places on courses to learn more - we look forward to seeing what they make. On a very snowy day we went to Alder Carr Farm for our Christmas lunch. In spite of the weather most of us managed to get there and enjoyed the food and company.
Our meeting this month is on the 12th and is a talk on Little Hall in Lavenham and on the 19th we have our birthday party.
As always we meet at the centre on the second Monday in the month at 7.30 pm and would be pleased to welcome any old or new friends to join us.

The whole town really came alive and it was thoroughly enjoyable. Friends who brought grandchildren on our recommendation were amazed that our small town produced such a great event. Needham Market and District Family Carer GroupWe meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month in the Green Room at the Community Centre from 11am - 1.00pm. 2017 was a busy year and we enjoyed a variety of activities. In December we had a Tombola stall at the Christmas Fair which was very well supported and raised a good amount for our funds. For our final meeting of the year we had a very enjoyable Christmas meal at Stowupland Crown.Activities are being planned for 2018. Yasmin will be coming along to some of our meetings during the year to run creative sessions using different techniques to produce an item using a sewing machine. She will bring sewing machines with her but if you have a machine at home and would like help getting the best out of it you can bring it along. We are a very friendly group and we would love to see new members at our meetings. You don’t have to join in the activities you can watch the fun, chat, have a coffee/tea and there is usually a yummy piece of cake on offer. For more information ring Amanda: 07512879408 or Vera: (01449) 723424.
Community
NEEDHAM MARKET DEMENTIA AWARENESS GROUPMemory Corner continues every Tuesday morning in the Community Café in School Street from 11 o’clock. Please come along and join us for a chat and pick up information on services that may help you or your loved ones.
At the Needham Market Surgery there is a regular drop-in service run by Peter Anderson, a Sue Ryder volunteer. He would be delighted to see you and help in any way he can. Contact the surgery for dates when he is there. The Sue Ryder dementia team do great work with their passion to support people living with dementia and their carers. Their befriending supports people socially on a 1:1 basis by visiting them or taking them out. Sue Ryder are always looking for additional volunteers.
If you feel you could help by becoming a befriender or a navigator, a local contact for people with dementia to provide basic information and signposting to support them to cope and live well, please contact: Alana Page on: (01473) 295200. Many thanks.
CONNECT & CREATEWith 2018 well and truly underway, I wonder how many of you maybe looking for a new, creative hobby, something to relax with and enjoy?Yet, as someone experienced in facilitating creative activities to promote wellbeing, I have come to realise that many people are reluctant to have a go at art, believing that it is a pastime only for the ‘gifted’ few. However, when we do find the courage to experiment with art materials, without fear of being judged, we can often re-connect with the kind of unselfconscious exuberant art-making of our youth. With this thought in mind, I’m looking to gather expressions of interest in forming a ‘not for profit’ informal social art group. And whether you would be looking for motivation, companionship, or exchange of ideas, the intention is for the group to be accessible for all levels and appealing whether:• you have never done art• you would like to return to art making and need some
friendly inspiration• you actively produce art, but would enjoy working
collaborativelyWant to know more? Then please feel free to contact Alexis Devereux at [email protected] Once I have an idea whether or not there is sufficient interest to get things off the ground, we can then look at finding a suitable venue and begin creating an operational framework. Look forward to hearing from you!

Bury St Edmunds and Stowmarket Cats Protection This month we are looking for a home for Bear, a sweet little chap who is only 10mths old and has come into care as he didn’t get on with the young child in the household. Bear is a little worried about new experiences but once he gets over that he is a very loving cat who wants to have fuss and attention. He would like a home that doesn’t have any dogs but possibly another cat and with a family with children over 5yrs or adults only. Bear is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
If you would like to know more about Bear or any of the cats in our care please ring Marina on 01449674584. More information can found on our website www.cats.org.uk/bury-st-edmunds and our Facebook page. If your cat has not been neutered and your circumstances mean that you need financial help towards the cost, please ring Margaret on (01284) 851055 and leave a message. In addition to raising £1780 at the Needham Market Christmas Fayre £306 was raised at the Needham Market Street Fayre. Thank You to everyone who helped us raise so much money in many different ways. Our supply of tombola prizes is low so if you do have anything suitable such as cuddly toys, unwanted gifts etc please ring 01449720003 to arrange collection or take along to any of our fundraising events during the year. Thank you for your continuing support.

Cats ProtectionNEEDHAM MARKET NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCHRecently, crime figures for 2017 were released by the police and it was no surprise to learn that incidents of crime reported all over Suffolk are on the increase. In the Needham Market area alone, there were over 200 incidents reported. It’s worrying that there were so many cases in a small town like Needham Market. However, on the positive side (if there is a positive) most of these were regarded as low level crime, such as vandalism, theft from cars or garages and domestic disputes. It is also much lower than other towns of a similar size to Needham Market in properties and population.
I am pleased to report that, to the best of my knowledge, domestic burglaries is virtually non-existent in our town and this is good news because it is the one thing residents fear the most. If we all take necessary steps to secure the property we live in, then it’s very unlikely we will become a victim of this horrible crime.
It amazes me that in the police report, it states that more than a third of home burglaries in Suffolk over the last year were due to unlocked doors and lack of security devices fitted.
To remain safe and secure in your own home it is vitally important to keep all doors locked at all times even if you are at home. Garage and shed doors need to be tightly secured also as would be burglars are looking for utensils to help them break in. Outdoor security lights are a great deterrent and in the home make use of timer switches to make your home look occupied when you are not there. Thieves are looking for valuables such as jewellery, laptops and passports so make sure these items are out of sight.
Finally, be neighbourly by keeping watch and always report any suspicious activity to the police. If you believe a burglary to be in progress always dial 999.

Bosmere Primary SchoolBOSMERE PRIMARY SCHOOLOn Wednesday 15th November, Bosmere’s Under-11 girl footballers competed in a local tournament at Stowmarket High School. The girls won their first two matches, bagging an impressive 8 goals in the group stage. The team drew and won their remaining two games, agonisingly missing out on winning through to the Finals by one goal.
On Thursday 9th November, Bosmere’s Under-11 football team competed in their local area tournament at Stowupland High School. The team got off to a great start, winning their opening game 2-1. Two battling draws proceeded, despite heavy pressure from the Bosmere side in the final game narrowly failing to secure the win needed to top the group. However, a 2-1 victory gave the team 3rd place and a well-deserved place in the Area Finals on the 23rd November. Some superb passing football and a terrific attitude as usual.
U11 FOOTBALL AREA FINALS
Congratulations to the boys for their tremendous team work and sportsmanship at the Area Finals on 23rd November. Bosmere achieved their place in the competition originally comprising of 16 teams. Scoring the most goals from all schools in the finals, we came in 4th place.
Well done to all of you, as ever, doing yourselves and Bosmere proud!

Annual General Meeting24 February at 10.00am

Needham In BloomHere is a review of 2017. We began with a general spring tidy and prune of plants in the Sensory Garden and Burial Ground, and in May had a fundraising plant sale which was well supported. The High Street containers were planted up and after a slow start, looked good for the summer. They are planted with pansies for the winter and bulbs for the spring. Unfortunately, some of the small conifers have developed a habit of jumping out of the pots. More spring flowering bulbs have been planted in the Sensory Garden. This has become overgrown in places so it will have a refurbishment soon.
We are a small, mature group and we give our time freely to maintain our area. Our funds come mainly from donations, and we were fortunate to receive some cash from the Co-op token scheme. We thank all of those who have helped us in any way.
The next meeting will be the AGM on 24th February at the Community Centre at 10.00. Please come.
If you care about the appearance of the town and think you could contribute in any way, we especially need young, fit volunteers, please contact Vera on: (01449) 723424. PR

All Welcome. Non-Members: £3
The Needham Market SocietyWe have had a break over Christmas but are raring to go and on 21st March we have a talk on The Life of Bats by Anne & Dennis Kell. The last meeting held before Christmas was a fascinating insight of the life of Brian Cornell who worked as a lighterman and waterman on the Thames. There were some wonderful photos of ships tugs and smaller vessels and of Brian in his waterman’s regalia accompanying the Royal Barge, as well as learning of the many day-to-day duties carrying out the trade on the river.Meetings21st March 2018 - Anne & Dennis Kell: The Life of BatsOur meetings are held at 7.30pm in the Burton Room at Needham Market Community Centre.Visitors are always welcome (£3 entrance fee).Members’ subs for the year ‘17-‘18 (presently £5) are no due.For further details please contact Andrea Davies: 01449 721056

Mid Suffolk District Council’s Proposals for its Former Office Headquarters Site and the Former Needham Market Middle School Site
The District Council postponed the presentation due to be made to the Town Council’s 20th December meeting at short notice. It was hoped the presentation could take place at the Town Council meeting on 17th January, however, it became clear the District Council, in presenting to a public forum, would be constrained by confidentiality and commercial sensitivities. To overcome these constraints, Town Councillors are to receive details on the proposals by the end of January followed by an open public engagement event in February. This is not an ideal scenario but the one which was agreed suited the purpose best, before timescales lapse further.
Outline Planning Application (DC/17/05549) for New Housing Development (total 66 dwellings) off Stowmarket Road
The Town Council has submitted comment to the consultation on the above application, supporting approval. The decision of the Town Council was made in the context of Mid Suffolk District Council’s failure to maintain a Local Plan, Planning Policies and Housing Land Availability. I have referred to what this means for communities across the Mid Suffolk District in past editions of the Newsletter and the evidence, both locally and further afield, is already plain to see. To try and mitigate the damage the District Council’s failures expose Needham Market to, the Town Council is exploring, with the assistance of high-level professional support, options which may help alleviate the pressure future housing growth will inevitably impose on our local infrastructure.
Town and Town Council meetings dates for 2018
The Town Council will continue to meet on the first and third Wednesday of each month for the remainder of the year. The Annual Town Council meeting at which the Town Mayor/Chairman of Council is elected, takes place on Wednesday 2nd May. The Annual Town Meeting, where organisations/groups in the community report on their activities, will be held on Monday 30th April. All meetings are scheduled to take place in Needham Market Community Centre. Members of the public are welcome to attend all Council and the Annual Town Meeting and, have the opportunity to raise questions, should they wish to.
Needham Market Railway StationGreater Anglia is seeking ‘green-fingered’ volunteers who are willing to spend time making the railway station a more pleasant and appealing environment. There are relevant posters on the notice boards around the town and anyone interested is requested to contact Greater Anglia via [email protected]. Grants are available for planting.

Suffolk Bereavement Support – Why Not Pluck Up The Courage?
If the new year finds you experiencing a delayed reaction to bereavement or perhaps not coping with adjusting to the loss of a loved one then why not pluck up the courage and join a Suffolk Bereavement Support group?
Our groups are very friendly, supportive and we encourage our members to share their experiences as we believe this is the best way to offload pent up feelings that may eventually take their toll on us and affect both mental and physical health. New members are not put under any pressure to join in until they feel ready to but we find that most people feel at home very quickly.
At each meeting we focus on an aspect of bereavement by way of a short video clip and a presentation. This is designed to help us understand our responses to grief and to stimulate discussion of the wide spectrum of emotions and reactions that can be experienced. Our members frequently testify to how this has helped them cope as they negotiate the path of bereavement towards the point where they are better equipped to move forward with their lives while still treasuring memories of their loved ones.
We have planned our meetings so that there should be a group to suit most people. Our afternoon group is held in central Hadleigh on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month from 1.30pm-3.00pm and our Capel St. Mary group meets in the early evening on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month from 6.30pm-8.00pm. Each meeting finishes with refreshments and informal chat. We would love to hear from you if you would like to join us at any time. Please ring Margaret or Patrick: 01206 299832; email: [email protected]; web site: www.suffolkbereavement.org.uk.
Dog Fouling
The perennial problems are with us along with short days and less than pleasant weather. There is the usual hotspot at the top of The Causeway, just at the point where parents and children walk to gain access to the Primary School. There is also a persistent offender using the High Street. Not picking up anywhere around the streets in the town is bad enough but to leave your dog’s deposits where people, including children, are bound to find them, is totally inexcusable. The Town Warden is now constantly monitoring and anyone caught in the act will be challenged. As always, thanks to the majority who do the right thing and pick up. It is appreciated by all.

CommunityChernobyl Children’s Lifeline & Charity ShopOn 29th December we were up at 4:30 am to get ready to take the children to the airport for their journey home. Whilst they were all looking forward to seeing their families again, there were a few tears at the airport as we said goodbye to one of the best groups of children visiting us. There was nothing other than lots of fun and great enjoyment during the month, both for the visiting children and their host families. The children enjoyed everything, no matter how small and each new experience was greeted with appreciation and delight. These children came from some of the poorest families and I am sure we have given them memories that will last a lifetime.
When they landed I got a phone call from Tanya, our interpreter, who put her phone on hands free and all the children shouted out loud, “we miss you all, come and see us in Belarus”!
We are now looking towards the summer group visit and would appeal to anyone interested in supporting our work to think about us now rather than waiting until the summer as we need to make preparations a soon as possible in advance of the children’s arrival.
They will be with us for four weeks from 1st to 29th July. Children will be aged between 8 and 10. We are asking for donations of good quality second hand clothing for the summer group for age range 7 to 11 years. The children arrive with only the clothes they are wearing so both summer and winter clothes are appreciated. For further information about our program or to donate clothes for the children please email or call me and I will
be happy to provide further details. We also have a very active presence on Facebook both for our visiting children’s activities and for our Charity shop based in Needham Market.
For those of you who have friends and families who may be interested in Hosting but are not local to Stowmarket, we do have links covering the areas of Cambridge and Norfolk and we would be happy to provide details of the local contacts for these areas and indeed any other area in the UK where we have representation.
We are very aware that there are now more Charitable causes than ever all needing support. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who supports us, you may think you only do a little but without you we could not survive.

News from the ROYAL BRITISH LEGION The amount raised by the Poppy Appeal in Needham Market and District during October to December 2017 was £6,970. This is slightly down on last year’s record of £7,158 but is a magnificent amount and thanks are due to all members of our community who generously contributed so much and especially to the volunteer collectors who undertook collections house to house, at the boot fair and other special events, including the High Street collection by Army Cadets. The House to House collection was down somewhat in most areas, probably due to the declining number of volunteer collectors, but this was offset by increases in contributions from shops, offices and pubs, plus special events. Additional volunteers who could spare a couple of hours to collect in their neighbourhoods are always welcome.
Preliminary results to December indicate that the Poppy Appeal in Suffolk has raised over £585,770 and Nationally £34 million, with more to come. This money is essential to enable the Royal British Legion to continue its work of providing medical and psychiatric support to injured members of the Armed Forces, welfare support for their next of kin and dependents, plus material support for veterans and resettlement training for those leaving the Armed Forces. 2018 will be the centenary of the Armistice in November
1918 which heralded the end of World War 1. This conflict involved all the major European Powers, plus their Dominions and Colonies and several independent nations, far from the battlefields, including the USA, Brazil and Japan.
Some countries lost a complete generation of young men, leading to significant changes in national economies, more women working and elsewhere the end of empires and creation of new states. The technologies of warfare made dramatic advances during WW1 which also increased the death toll. There is much to commemorate about the END of that conflict.
A number of high profile events are being arranged nationally, regionally and locally to mark the Centenary, including a nation-wide chain of beacons, ringing of church bells, concerts and festivals in towns and villages, in addition to the customary parades and services on Remembrance Sunday. RBL Needham Market is already liaising with the Town Council, churches and schools to ensure that the 1918 Centenary will be marked in appropriate and respectful ways. More detail to follow.

Church News
February can be a funny old month – far enough from Christmas and the New Year for the excess pounds and resolutions to have vanished – yet the mornings are still dark, the temperatures prone to plummeting and there’s always the threat/promise (delete as applicable) of snow. The Church calendar this year places Ash Wednesday (the start of Lent – that period of ‘preparation’ for Easter) on 14th February – a date perhaps more commonly known as St Valentine’s Day. This could be a confusing time for those who intend to mark both, particularly anyone who intends to give up chocolate for Lent and who also receives confectionary from their true love!Yet, there’s a link between these two events, and that is ‘Love’. Love, really is everywhere – as the song says ‘Love is all around’. I’ve always been a fan of ‘Wet Wet Wet’ - that’s the pop group, not the weather... and I like the sentiment of the lyrics, ’I feel it in my fingers; I feel it in my toes, the love that’s all around me, and so the feeling grows.’Love is everywhere; it is all consuming and has the potential for growth. So, if you are fortunate enough to receive a Valentine’s Card I hope that the loving relationship grows between you and your beloved. And if you are someone for whom Lent is important, then I hope you will discover the love of God in a new and deeper way as you journey through those ‘Forty Days’ - a way that may however, also involve chocolate in April! To quote another of my favourite musical groups: ‘All you need is love, love is all you need’Blessings to you and those you love.Reverend Mary Playford

HOME WORSHIPThe first Monday in January happened to fall on New Year’s Day but we still held Home Worship and the attendance was surprisingly good. Pam Sanderson from the charity CAP ‘Christians against Poverty’ came to lead our worship and tell us about her work with CAP. CAP was founded 21 years ago, the Patron is Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury, and an enthusiastic supporter is Martin Lewis who is well known for his money advice, and he says CAP is one of the most successful debt advice agencies in the country. CAP organize free debt courses for those who wish to take part. Several pieces of their basic advice is ‘use cash, not cards’ - that way you realise the value of the money you are spending; cards can deceive you into how much you are spending; if you go to the shop for a bottle of milk for £1.19 then just take £1.19 with you - otherwise you can find you go in the shop just to spend a £1 and come out having spent £10; also have a monthly saver, so that if you have a big bill coming in, you have set aside a reserve. If you are interested more you can send for a free copy of the book ‘Nevertheless’ which is the inspiring story of John Kirkby, the founder of CAP, write to: Supporter Relations, CAP, Jubilee Mill, North Street, Bradford, 8D1 4EW to request a copy.
Home Worship always meets on the first Monday of the month, 10 o›clock, at 137 High Street, Needham Market. All welcome, after the worship and talk, we have tea/ coffee/biscuits and a friendly chat. In February Helen Grimbly is coming to tell us about ‘Persecuted Christians in Pakistan’. Wendy Marchant
ST ELIZABETH HOSPICE SHOPThe third year of trading at our shop on the High Street has started and I, for one, can’t believe it! It all still feels so fresh and new.
We had great fun at the Street Fayre in December, both in the shop and outside. A team of volunteers led by Mark did sterling work outside, particularly selling Christmas cards and raffle tickets for our hamper. We raised lots of money for the hospice, which is, of course, always our aim. Sales in the shop were good too and we want to thank everyone who supported us on that day. It was a fun day for us but was also a great opportunity to raise extra funds for our worthy cause and bring the shop to the attention of more people. Currently we could do with a couple more volunteers, particularly to cover the Saturday shifts. We would also love to find a volunteer to count jigsaw pieces in the shop! If you’re interested, please pop into the shop and have a word with us. It’s obviously a very different job but a very valuable one that does require time, patience and accuracy!
Thank you, as always, to all our customers both for the lovely donations you bring in and for the money you spend in the shop. We really value your support and hope to see you soon.
MG, Volunteer

News from the Parish Church of St John the BaptistThank you to all of those who have supported our produce stalls and coffee mornings during 2017. These monthly stalls have been very popular and we were able to raise £1,645.00 over the Summer period.
This year of course, it is going to be different as the church is now closed until June/July for the roof to be repaired however, thanks to the team at Penvest next door, we are going to use their frontage to hold our produce stalls, again on the first Saturday of the month from April and until we are able to use the church again.
On the subject of the church closing – our last Sunday service was held on Sunday 31st December. We then cleared things out and moved pew, chairs etc. around so that the builders could move in on 8th January 2018 and erect the scaffolding.
During closure time, the manager at The Limes Hotel has very kindly offered us the use of the function room there for some Sundays, so we will use The Ark on the 1st and 3rd Sunday each month. The Limes will be used on the 2nd and 4th Sunday each month
There is a car park at the rear of The Limes Hotel and easy access on a flat level for those who need that.
The list of services appears elsewhere in this edition as it will every month, there will also be a copy on the church door for you to find out what is going on.
We are looking forward to the challenge this will create and hope that you will continue to support our services, you will be most welcome to come and join us. CFL

Sports NewsNeedham Market Bowls Club After a very successful outdoor season, a large number of our bowlers are enjoying indoor bowling at The Meadlands. Any member wanting information about indoor bowling can contact me, David Hindley, on: (01449) 613144. Not only have we achieved success on the green this year, the atmosphere in the club and the camaraderie between teams and bowlers has been excellent which makes for a welcoming and very happy bowls club.
The green was successfully put to bed and the ’green team’ will be busy throughout the close season ensuring it will be in good condition for 2018. The team has been reinforced but can always use extra help, anyone interested in joining the ‘green team’ should contact Alastair Bailie on: (01449) 720759. Our winter social events got off to a good start with Carpet Bowling on our ‘not quite perfect’ carpet. The competition was won by Shirley Eaton with runners up Rita Robertson and Charlie Lawson just one point behind, thanks to everyone who took part.
By the time you read this we will have had our Christmas social with fun and games for all, our January social on the 19th will see the return of the Stowmarket Strummers ukulele band with games between sets, February 23rd will be the ‘Big Quiz’ which is getting to be a very competitive event but always played in good spirit. The date and content of the March event is still to be decided.
MEET AND GREET DAYS AT CROWLEY PARK
These have been very successful and will be resumed with the opening of the 2018 outdoor season in April - please do come along and enjoy a cup of tea/coffee and a biscuit. Bowls and basic instruction will be provided, however, if you prefer to simply watch and chat that’s fine. Although bowls is an ideal sport for the active older person remember
‘YOU ARE NEVER TOO YOUNG TO BOWL’!

Needham Market Skate ParkMembers of the Skatepark Committee would like to thank all those stall holders at the Needham Market Christmas Fayre who very kindly donated a percentage of their takings to the Skatepark fund. Our special thanks go to Chloe Moore for organising such a successful event.
During the course of the day we spoke to several hundred people and sold nearly all our cakes! Everyone was positive about the proposal for a Skatepark and the majority were happy to add their names to our register of interest forms. In addition to our other efforts, we have collected over 500 signatures in support of a Skatepark serving Needham Market. We made over £200 for the fund which is a very exciting start to our fundraising events.
Our Christmas Disco on 8th December was well attended and the young people enjoyed themselves. Thank you to our supporters, volunteers and everyone who has helped us so far.
As the Town grows, the need for suitable spaces for our children will increase; a Skatepark has proven highly successful in many local towns in providing a positive focus for young people. In a time when there are concerns about obesity in our society and providing young people with a positive outlook on the communities they are living in, we feel that a skate park in Needham Market would show the community that we care for our young people of now and as they become the future parents of our community.
The aim is to provide a Skate park for our young people in Needham Market and surrounding villages.
To register your support please sign one of the forms which can be found at the Internet Cafe, Post Office and local pubs. Also, please add your suggestions or offers of help via our Facebook page - #needhammktskatepark …we would like to hear from parents, Grandparents, and Skatepark future users alike!
