VOICES OF SECONDARY RADIO Don Jarrett - KTHK- Idaho Falls, ID "

How long have you been at the station: 1 1/2 YEARS "What "hats" do you currently wear each day? Morning host of the Early Bird Show, Program Director, Imaging, Music Director and Fun Manager. "What is your philosophy on adding new music and artists to your playlist? It’s all about the right fit for our station and this market. We do unscientific testing with our “Flyin’ or Dyin” feature on air, lots of real testing with call out and song content and language. Put it all in a bowl, add some gut instinct, mix well and BAM! #1 for New Country in East Idaho. "Why is it important to you to report to MusicRow? MusicRow is a vital sign of the health of our format. It’s crucial to be connected to the indies and new artists. MusicRow lets us be on the cutting edge. "Tell us something great about 105.5 The Hawk- We have become the #1 Country Station in East Idaho. We are extremely active on the air, online and on the streets. Real Personalities that are live and engaging. And giving back to the community. We Love East Idaho and it shows.

NO. 1 SONG "Together with songwriter Rodney Clawson, the members of Lady Antebellum (Hillary Scott, Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley) penned this week’s CountryBreakout Chart No. 1, “Bartender.” The title is the first single from the band’s forthcoming album 747, produced by the Capitol Nashville trio with Nathan Chapman. We’re hoping these new 11 tracks will be as tantalizing as those from the last release, Golden, which even had a few surprises up it’s sleeve. Remember when the deluxe re-issue wasn’t yet available and “Compass” popped out of nowhere as the album’s third single? With new management behind Sept. 30th’s release, we’re hopeful for even more thrills from this multi-platinum band. Because we're also ready to chase that disco ball around! Lady A is mid-way through their headlining 80-city Take Me Downtown Tour.
