WINDSOR FAMILY CREDIT UNION ‘BREAKS GROUND’ FOR NEW AMHERSTBURG RETAIL LOCATION

MARCH 25, 2013

WINDSOR, ON – On March 25, 2013, Windsor Family Credit Union (WFCU) hosted their official

ground breaking for their newest retail location. This location is the 7th for the credit union and

will mark WFCU’s debut in the Town of Amherstburg.

Marty Komsa, WFCU President and Chief Executive Officer and Board Chair, Marty Gillis were

accompanied by Amherstburg Mayor Wayne Hurst to host this ground breaking for the credit

union. Also in attendance were representatives from Rosati Construction, the successful

company who will be building the newest WFCU location, Architectural Design Associates Inc.,

as well as a developer from Decade Group.

“WFCU is excited to expand our scope of business into Amherstburg,” said Komsa. “It is

thrilling to have the opportunity to become a part of another community. After a great deal of

planning we are confident that our expansion into the Town of Amherstburg will service the

financial needs of the region and will continue to assist in making our communities the best

place to live.”

The Amherstburg WFCU retail location will offer personal, commercial (including

agricultural), institutional and organization members the same products and service offerings

available at all of WFCU’s retail locations.

The retail location will feature a service environment not found at most other financial

institutions and one that WFCU adopted several years ago. Upon entering the retail location

you will be welcomed by a receptionist and invited into an office setting to meet with a

WFCU Staff Member to conduct your financial business or should all staff be assisting

members you will be directed to the comfortable lounge café area.

This new location will offer sit-down service with no teller lines and the convenience of

accessing drive-up banking services with our staff and a drive-up full service ATM.
