BISPWA had its GBM and Annual get-together on 8 January 2017. It was a successful meeting, good gathering, entertainment and tasty food we had together. He was very helpful to us and great loss to BISPWA. His soul may rest in peace and God may give courage to his family members to bear this loss. We have received the massage that mother of Shri Kumar Anil, Shri P K Kush expired. May their souls rest in peace. It is unfortunate that Shri Sant Lal, Textile department is ill and condition is critical. We can pray to GOD for his fast recovery Shri D K Nayyar had a heart attacked recently and operation is successful. God may bless him a healthy and long life We have received information that BIS is in process of implementing recommendation of 7PC recommendation in view of the order issued for Autonomous bodies dated 13 Jan 2017. It is hoped that by the end of Feb 2017 it will be implemented. It is unfortunate that our members do not share any good or bad news even if they have the information. It is an effort to get connected with our old friends and help each other if possible.

Recent work by BISPWA Work relating to LIFE CERTIFICATE is over which was coordinated by BISPWA at HQ and simplified procedure was adopted BISPWA had number of Office bearer meeting for organizing GBM and annual get together. It was organized successfully on 8 January 2017 with cooperation extended by all the member. EC Members of BISPWA met with DG BIS on 5 Jan 2017 and discussed various issues relating to cashless medical facility, increase in audit charges and delivering lectures on behalf of NITS/BIS. We also met other BIS Officials DDGF, DHRD, D Estt., DF and Shri Gian Chand, SO (pension) BISPWA is thankful to them for their cooperation extended to us. 25% of the women in this country are on medication for mental illness.

That's scary. It means 75% are running around untreated.

A young man wanted to get his beautiful blonde wife something nice for their first wedding anniversary. So he decided to buy her a cell phone. He showed her the phone and explained to her all of its features.

Meg was excited to receive the gift and simply adored her new phone. The next day Meg went shopping. Her phone rang and, to her astonish- ment, it was her husband on the other end. "Hi Meg," he said, "how do you like your new phone?" Meg replied, "I just love it! It's so small and your voice is clear as a bell, but there's one thing I don't understand though..."
