Classes are held each year during Lent with First Communion celebrated on Maundy Thursday. This class is separate from Confirmation and does not require the completion of nor enrollment in Confirmation to participate. Students enrolled in Confirmation will need to sign-up for this class as well. We hope that both First Communion and Confirmation will be equally meaningful milestones in the spiritual journeys of our children and teenagers. Classes are held March 4 and 25, 5-7 p.m. in the Worship Center. First Communion is Thursday, March 29, Maundy Thursday, 7 p.m. In between classes, students and parents will work together to complete homework ahead of the second lesson. LUTHERAN HIGH SCHOOL The Lutheran High School Fine Arts Department cordially in-vites you to their 10th Annual Dessert Auction featuring "Memorable Melodies" on Saturday, Feb. 10 at 7 p.m. For your entertainment pleasure there will be a wonderful concert pro-vided by the LHS band, choir and musical groups. The Women's Renewal Retreat, March 2-4 at Camp Lone Star is time set aside for ladies to reflect on Christ and His Word, be in fellowship with other sisters in Christ, and spend time in His creation. Each year this fun weekend includes opportunities for hiking, archery, tomahawk throwing, crafts, canoeing, star gazing, a prayer walk around the lake, campfire devotions, quiet meditation outside, and conquer-

Join the Haiti Mission Team!! Dates: Depart June 19 (possibly the late after-noon/evening of the 18 with an overnight stay in Florida if needed) and return June 26. The price: $2300/2400.

Payments are due in full or in monthly payments and are required in full at least 3 weeks prior to departure. All members are ultimately responsible for funding their own trip. We may have some fundraisers to help the team but please do not count on them. Price includes all lodging, meals, transportation, and security. What is required?
