NEW YORK’S CLEAN ENERGY STANDARD BENEFITS ALL NEW YORKERS
New York’s Clean Energy Standard (CES) requires 50% of the state’s power from renewable energy sources by 2030 and a reduction in carbon emissions by 40% during the same time. To meet these objectives, New York has embraced and supported all carbon-free technologies including solar, wind and nuclear. This effort demonstrates New York’s leadership in achieving a clean, healthy environment for all of its residents.
Environmental, labor, business, civic, education and non-profit groups agree that the CES is a benefit for all New Yorkers. Join us in telling Governor Cuomo to support the CES for a better New York.
