“2010 A YEAR OF COMPLETION

AND FRUITFULNESS WHERE GOD

IS SOVEREIGN IN THE GRACE AND TRUTH OF

JESUS CHRIST”

God chose the ‘foolish’ to confound the wise.He raise up ‘prophets’ from among themselves

but they regarded them not.Though they do not ‘recognize’ Him as God

they will be ‘judged’ by Him as God.

(1 Cor 1:27, Amos 2:11)

2000 was declared “The International Year for the Culture of Peace” as designated by the United Nations with the aim of celebrating and encouraging a culture of peace.

The International Year for the Culture of Peace came about from a resolution of the United Nation General Assembly 1997 on the basis of an Economic and Social Council Resolution.

But if we are looking 10 years back then the yearis really 2001. What happened 10 years ago?

• Do you remember ‘2001 A Space Odyssey’ a science fiction film by Stanley Kubrick made in 1968?

• Recognized by film critics and audiences as one of the greatest films ever made. It was nominated for four Academy Awards and received one for Visual

Effects.

• The film deals with thematic elements of ‘human evolution, technology, artificial intelligence, and extraterrestrial life.’

February 6th Ariel Sharon elected as Prime Minister of Israel.

April 1st Netherlands passes into law same sex couples to marry for the 1st time in the world since the reign of Nero.

April 26th Koizumi becomes Prime Minister of Japan.

June 1st Gyanendra ascended to the Nepalese throne after a Nepalese royal massacre.

June 7th Tony Blair’s Labour Party wins the UK Elections.

June 20th Pervez Musharraf becomes president of Pakistan.

July 28th Alejandro Toledo is sworn in as the president of Peru.

September 11th 3000 killed in the terrorist attack on the World Trade Centre and the Pentagon.

October 7th United States invades Afghanistan.

November 10th Australian Prime Minister John Howard is elected to a third term.

December 22nd Hamid Karzai is sworn in as head of the interim government in Afghanistan.

There were also 4 earthquakes through 2001.

3.YOUR COMPLETION will cause you to get well so that every seed you sow will become fruitful.(Take advantage of the present to have a good future)

Psalm 19:7-11 (The Message)

The revelation of GOD is whole       and pulls our lives together.    The signposts of GOD are clear       and point out the right road.    The life-maps of GOD are right,       showing the way to joy.    The directions of GOD are plain       and easy on the eyes.    GOD's reputation is twenty-four-carat gold,       with a lifetime guarantee.    The decisions of GOD are accurate       down to the ninth degree.  

God's Word is better than a diamond,       better than a diamond set between emeralds.You'll like it better than strawberries in spring,       better than red, ripe strawberries….. 

There's more: God's Word warns us of danger       and directs us to hidden treasure. Otherwise how will we find our way?       Or know when we play the fool? Clean the slate, God,

so we can start the day fresh!Keep me from stupid sins, 

from thinking I can take over your work;

Then I can start this day sun-washed,       scrubbed clean of the grime of sin. These are the words in my mouth;       these are what I chew on and pray. 

Accept them when I place them       on the morning altar, O God, my Altar-Rock,       God, Priest-of-My-Altar.
