The range of woodgrain decors has never been as expansive as it is today. It ranges from native,

natural wood reproductions to exotic versions in transformed colours. The colouring of the

decor is gaining greater importance than the type of wood itself. New woodgrain decors must

have a natural character in order to live up to the motto “Design goes natural”. They exhibit an

extremely authentic character, which is created through natural elements such as wind cracks,

knots, saw cuts or more pronounced planking. The used look and vintage appearance are also

important individual design characteristics. Individual art and fantasy wood eff ects for special

accents are found in the Artwoods decor world.

Oak is among the best-selling wood reproductions in our collection. Since it

harbours great potential for changes to its character through processing such

as brushing, planing, glazing or liming, oak is suitable for many different styles

ranging from classic-modern to natural-rustic. For this reason, we developed

five different colours, from rustic to homogeneous, for the Gladstone Oak series

which was developed with the new synchronised pore technology.

In unserer Kollektion gehören die Eichen zu den Bestsellerdekoren bei den Holz-

among the new oak decors is H3344 Highline Oak, reminiscent of

the Gladstone Oak decor series achieves a new perfection in the

interplay of appearance and touch. These decor series off er clas-

Wood types with expressive pores such as ash and chestnut conform with current

trends. In addition to the powerful pores, they exhibit a diverse interplay of

colours and often also feature natural characteristics such as knots. Typical

examples include our new Tortona decor, a chestnut with small knots and a

highly varied interplay of colours or Navarra Ash with its lively grain.

applications, e.g. in offi ces where timeless restraint is in demand, leaving nothing to be desired in terms

of naturalness which can be realised with modern decor printing.

Die leichte und neutrale Natürlichkeit der Dekorserie Tortona wirkt besonders authentisch durch die

strenge Pore der synchronen Oberfl äche ST27 FEELWOOD Elegance. Dieses Dekor kommt besonders in

Conifer reproductions have always stood for naturalness and liveliness. The successful Avola Pine

decor has combined this character with colour and, thanks to a total of seven colour variations

ranging from cream to anthracite, continues to enjoy great popularity. Thermo Pine H3420 is an

elegant new version while Jackson Pine H1486 with a vintage look is precisely the opposite, making

it a good complement to the rustic Bramberg Pine H1487 from last year.

Die Nadelholz-Reproduktionen stehen seit jeher für Natürlichkeit und Lebendigkeit. Das Erfolgsdekor

Avola Pinie hat diesen Charakter mit Farbe kombiniert und erfreut sich mit seinen insgesamt sieben

HiGHLiGHTThe character of conifers is as varied as the oak decors and they too are enjoying growing popularity as a result.

Especially striking versions can be readily implemented with this wood type, making it ideal as an eff ective

accent for uni colours. Vintage and nature styles come together in the striking H1486 Jackson Pine, which also

works very well in combination with modern and cooler uni colours with its blue-grey colouring. In the kitchen,

it provides thicker worktops in particular with a strong character. H3420 Thermo Pine in contrast tends to

harmonise elegance with naturalness thanks to its dark but brilliant warmth, which is emphasised particularly

well in contrast to light and especially white unis. Thanks to its linear character, it is often presented in

horizontal applications.

Nadelhölzer sind in ihren Charakteren so vielfältig wie die Eichen und erfreuen sich somit auch wachsender

Beliebtheit. Besonders markante Ausprägungen können mit dieser Holzart sehr gut umgesetzt werden, wodurch

sie sich gut als aussagekräftige Akzente zu Unifarben eignen. Vintage und Natur vereinen sich in der markanten

H1486 Jackson Pinie, die mit ihrer blau-grauen Farbigkeit auch gut zu modernen und kühleren Unifarben

zu kombinieren ist. In Küchen verleiht sie besonders einer dickeren Arbeitsplatte einen starken Charakter.

Im Gegensatz dazu vereint die H3420 Thermo Pinie eher Eleganz mit Natürlichkeit durch ihre dunkle aber

leuchtende Wärme, die im Kontrast zu hellen und vor allem weißen Unis besonders betont wird. Sie wird

aufgrund ihres linearen Charakters oft in horizontalem Einsatz gezeigt, wirkt aber spezieller in der vertikalen

Anwendung.

Elm and acacia were considered more unusual wood types for

a long time. Over the last few years however, they have truly

asserted themselves as trendy wood decors and constitute a

good alternative to oak thanks to their appearance. Often they

are convincing thanks to a harmonious wood grain, which also

permits very good colouration of this wood type. With Cape Elm,

we are presenting a version that is able to create strong accents

thanks to its large fl orets.

Ulmen und Akazien galten lange Zeit als etwas ausgefallenere

Holzarten. Sie haben sich aber in den letzten Jahren als echte

Trendhölzer durchgesetzt und bieten in ihrem Erscheinungsbild

eine gute Alternative zur Eiche. Oft überzeugen sie durch einen

harmonischen Verlauf der Holzmaserung, der es auch erlaubt,

diese Holzarten sehr gut einzufärben. Mit Cape Elm zeigen wir

Artwoods are artistically joined wood types that are not found in nature in that form and colour.

They can exhibit striking and dominant decor gradients or images, and therefore require large areas

in order to unfold their full, unique appearance and attract the attention of a room to a certain space.

However, Artwoods can also be fi nely streaked wood types with metallic lines or entirely imaginative

colours. They have a special, unique charisma, setting themselves apart with their elegant, reserved

nature and permitting broad, large scale applications – such as the new H1121 Light Woodland.

Artwoods sind kunstvoll gefügte Hölzer, die in Form und Farbe so nicht in der Natur zu fi nden sind.

wood image with a modern grey colouring is an eye-

catcher with grey and white, but also supports intensive

colour accents for an impressive eff ect, especially on front

elements in the kitchen.

Neuheit unter den Artwoods ist das H1121 Woodland. Das

gefügte Holzbild ist modern-grau eingefärbt und ist so ein
