Ever since its birth in 2008, SolBridge International School has been thriving to become a top

business school where they educate the Next Generation of Asian Thought Leaders. Under

the institution, SolBridge Consulting Group’s (SCG) vision is to become the connection of their

BBA & MBA students between various industries. SCG members conduct and develop

research on key business issues and construct business plans based on their global insights.

SCG is open to business projects of large to small organizations from any industry or country.

ABOUT DAEJEON

Daejeon city, the research and development capital

of Korea and only an hour from Seoul by hi-speed

train, is the 5th largest city in South Korea, with a

population of about 1.5 million people (2010).

Regarded as “Asia’s Silicon Valley,” the city is home to

18 universities, including the Korea Advanced

Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and

SolBridge International School of Business. Several

important research centers are based in the

Daedeok Innopolis area. Sejong Special Autonomous

City, South Korea’s second government capital after

Seoul, is located nearby Daejeon.

In order to make your journey to SolBridge more comfortable, we have prepared the following guide for

students travelling to Korea for the first time. Please plan your travel arrangements so that you arrive in

time for the Team-Building Orientation program. SolBridge Student Services will run the Airport Meet-Up

& Bus Terminal Pick-Up Service From Wednesday – Sunday.

Accommodation:

1. SolGeo Residence

Sol-Geo is the international residence for all BBA students admitted to SolBridge. Students are

automatically matched up with a roommate from a different country and are highly encouraged to live

their first semester of studies there. After their first semester, students may apply for other residences

or opt to live off-campus. For the spring and fall, the residence fee includes a breakfast charge; for lunch

and dinner, however, students are free to purchase a meal ticket at their convenience. In the summer

and winter, no breakfast fee is charged, and all meals may be purchased with a meal ticket. In addition

to the rooms, Sol-Geo is a modern, clean, safe, and Wi-Fi-accessible facility that features a library, dance

studio, common kitchen, and various study halls and classrooms. Located on the East side of the

campus, Sol-Geo is close to the nearby shops, restaurants, subway line, and various bus routes.

SolBridge provides a convenient shuttle bus service to and from Sol-Geo.

The situation and risk that could happen

If you have failed courses in Solbridge, you need to discuss with

your head of program first by sending an email with choosing the

2 option following below:

• You will extend in Solbridge for 1 semester/ 1 year, to

completed the failed course in Solbridge. Eventhough only 1

course.

• Comeback to BINUS and doing the single degree in BINUS only

(not get the degree from Solbridge).
