In 2014, Deakin declared itself a smoke-free university. As such, the entire
campus is a non-smoking area, with one exception. The ONLY place that
smoking is permitted is the seating area between G4 and H4 in the Vil-
lage. If you are found smoking anywhere else on campus, you will be will
warned and official action may be taken against you.
The much anticipated Curlz 3 on 3 Basketball Comp is set to begin next
Monday 23rd March, with finals beginning on Monday 30th March, so
start training now! Stay on the lookout for the draw which will be up very

For those of you who aren’t already aware, resis are now able to
make purchases for various things (such as hoodies!) through the
StarRez portal.
First of all you will need to
log in and then head to
the ‘Shop’.
Once in the Shop, go to the item/s you wish to purchase (you can
purchase more than one thing at a time but often only one of a par-
ticular item) and press “Add to Cart”.
When finished, the number of
item/s will appear in the little
shopping cart. Click on the Shop-
ping Cart as this will take you to
the payment page (the transac-
tion must be completed do if
they have added items to the
shopping cart) and complete the transaction.

The Real Board Rambler
Issue 2
Hello Ressies and welcome to the second Real Board Rambler!
With the help of some feedback we have
changed the format a little bit this week. Thanks
for everyone’s help!
This week, we are looking at another card game
that meshes mechanics and theme. It’s a tasty
little morsel, and easy to play. Let’s begin!
Game: Sushi Go!
Players: 2-5
Playing time: 15 mins
This is a very simple game simulating a sushi train, as you would find at some restaurants. Everyone is
dealt a hand of cards, you choose one to keep, and pass your remaining hand to the left. As you play,
you are trying to get the best food combos. In this game you REALLY want wasabi!
The cards are cute and colourful with a clear anime style. The gameplay is so simple that once you
think of picking a card as taking a plate from a sushi train, the game is a great delight.
As always I look forward to seeing you down at Real Board on Res! on Monday night.
Until then, enjoy your games!

Chorizo and fried egg wraps
Serves 4
Ingredients
4 small cooking chori-zo, halved lengthways
4 eggs 2 tbsp mayonnaise 4 flatbreads 4 handfuls rocket 1 tbsp capers, drained
Method
1. Put the chorizo into a cold frying pan over a low heat, then gradually in-crease it. Fry until cooked through and beginning to crisp.
2. Lift the chorizo out of the pan, leaving behind just enough oil to stop the eggs sticking. Crack the eggs into the pan and fry them how you like them (an almost-set yolk is best if you want to avoid any drips!).
3. Spread some mayo over each flatbread, add a handful of the rocket and a few capers with two halves of chorizo to each. Put the egg on top, then fold up the end and the two sides before tucking in.
