Update� December 2, 2011 OSHA Commission Meeting

for (1st phase) Proposed Drilling Rules

� All proposed rules passed except H2S, Wind Guys for Truck Derrick Rigs, and Flame Resistant Clothing (FRCs)

� February 3, 2012 OSHA Commission Meeting

� Passed H2S and Wind Guys for Truck Derrick Rigs (2nd phase)

� Reworded the requirement for FRCs

� February 15, 2012

� Governor signed (1st phase) proposed rules

� Administratively enforce them starting July 1st

� 2nd phase of Proposed Rules (H2S and Wind

Guys) is at the Governor’s Office for signature

� 3rd phase of Proposed Drilling Rules (FRCs)

� Open for public comment until May 2nd

� OSHA Commission Meeting

� May 11th 2012

� Oil & Gas Commission Building in Casper

� 9:00 AM

New Proposed FRC Rule

� Flame Resistant Clothing shall be

worn by employees on location once

the well has been spud in.

� Garment shell meet NFPA 2112 & 2113

� A sign shall be posted at all entrances

stating FRCs is required to be worn

will close off the combustion air shall

be installed on all diesel engines
