PI REGISTRATION

Step 1. Visit www.onlinedst.gov.in. If you are not a registered user, please click on NEW PI

Registration button as shown below.

Step 2. On clicking New PI Registration button, the following screen appears. Fields marked with red

asterisk (*) are mandatory.

Step 3. A registration form will open up as shown in figure (1.2), kindly fill all the required details

in the form.

Login Id- The following rules for creating a new Login Id:

Login Id must contain at least 5 characters.

Login Id must contain only letters and numbers allowed.

Login Id must contain special character are not allowed.

Login Id should not contain spaces.

Institute Details- Click on Select your institute list. After selecting institute from list you can see Institute address

Details the following screen appears.

If your Institute is not in the list, please click here to add your Institute.

On clicking New Institute Registration, the following screen will appear.

After filling all the details, click on the "Submit" button then Institute details and contact details will

automatically fill in PI registration form.

Communication Details- kindly fill all the required details in the form.

Step 4. After filling all the details, click on the "Submit" button on successful submission, a

"Verification mail" will be sent to the user Communication Email.

Step 5. After successfully registration, you will be receive an auto generated mail to create a new

password.

Step 6. After click on ‘generate password ‘ link create new password page, the following screen will

appear.

Create your new Password- Follow these guidelines when creating a password:

Password must be at least eight characters.

Password must contain at least one digit (0-9).

Password must contain at least one lowercase letter (a-z).

Password must contain at least one uppercase letter (A-Z).

Password must contain at least one special character.

Password should not contain user name.

Create your new password, in Enter password, Enter Confirm Password and Captcha in text fields then Click Submit

Step 7. After creating your password successfully then login in to e-PMS application using type the

following things.

Login ID: Type the login ID as registered with the application.

Password: Type your password.

Captcha: Text the characters as shown in blue color, and type them in the textbox.

After entering a login id and password click on Login Button

Note : Login id and password are case sensitive. Please make sure you type it in correctly. if you type password wrongly for five consecutive times, you would not be

able to access the application for the next half an hour as shown in figure (1.12).
