H&l (Hospitals & tnstitutionslAs of now we are going into W# in Clifton Springs Every Wednesday and Every otherSunday. DVD is in the works of finding members to go, its been up in the air, but we are continuing toapproach members and will continue to ask member to come to our meeting, which is right after the
ASC meeting. Common issue with members getting involved with service is the ASC takes so long to get
through members are hesitant to get involved with service. We will meet today following the ASC, we
welcome anyone with the interest to serve. lT is a year to go into the facility to speak or be a panel
leader, but only an interest to be involved.
WebsiteWebsite is continuing to be updated, and we are looking at ways to cut cost. ln November we are due
to pay 5286.80 for another 2 years. We are learning that we can spend a fraction of cost. I will remind
this body this web site has been in existence for 11 years and the bill has been sent to an individual thatpaid for it from a credit card for the last 5 or 6 years or so. So looking into this and getting informationby next month is our plan, we have until October and the cost today is different than it was 11 years ago
as the World wide web has broadened dramatically.
HelplineHelpline is getting calls continuously, not all calls require a volunteer, and it has been updated to all new
meeting that have been closed and started that are not on the meeting list, as the website has the same,
meetings are updated ASAP
Spiritual Awareness
We secured 11 Gibson St, Canandaigua on October 1't. Fliers will be out next month
Meetins tistWe had asked Moore Printing if we can bill them, and the answer is no, but we can pay in advance for 2printings or 4 printings in advance. We also asked about pastel colors so each printing was a differentcolor, and we can do so at 5140.00 for 2000 copies, or different colored in on stock paper is StZg for2000 copies, as we pay StZt for 2000 copies.
The issue we continuously notice is out of print meeting list are on the tables at meetings. As eachprinting we have meetings that have folded or new meetings. Pease check your meeting lists at your
meetings and "Recycle" them.
What is hapoenins in PR {Public Retations)?
We were contacted by Partnership for Ontario County, as they are a Heroin and opiate Awareness
collation and we will have a literature rack and do a 5 to 10 minute presentation about NA. This
Thursday at Red Jacket from 7-9 PM. This forum is joined by Ontario Sheriffs, FLACRA, Anti Heroin ofNYS and other ordinations. 3 of us from the PR committee will be attending. There will be more in thenear future, and we will be invited. We don't have dates as of yet.
Today after the ASC we will meet, PR will be going over Guidelines with the Guidelines committee...
