Owner Mary Reed will discuss their care and feeding, as well as the associated textile industry. Afterward, you can meet some of her herd. This program is open to all, including kids. Registration required. You can help local kids by dropping off new and unopened packages of underwear in the Childrens Department at our Main Branch, as well as our Lake and Headlands Branches. Well be collecting from March 9 through April 8. Were accepting underwear for kids of all ages — both boys and girls. (Just make sure your drawers are still wrapped up when you drop them off.) The clothes you donate will go to the United Way of Lake County who will make sure they get to families that need them. Thanks for your support! Changes are coming to our Mentor-on-the-Lake Branch and construction is slated to start this spring! We’re expanding the building and adding The Beryl B. Paulson Annex and Meeting Room. The new meeting room will seat up to 60, allowing us to host more and bigger programs at the branch. The project is possible, in part, thanks to a generous donation from Francis “Bud” Paulson. In honor of his support, the new annex and meeting room will be named after his wife. Mother Goose on the Loose Fridays at 10 a.m., starting March 20

A 4-week interactive program for children up to 30 months. The program uses rhymes, songs, puppets, musical instruments, and more to stimulate the learning process in babies and toddlers. Registration is necessary and opens 2 weeks before the beginning of each session.
