VISIT OF ADDITIONAL DIRECTOR DSE
MS. KIRANMAYI
Ms. Kiranmayi, Addi onal Director, DSE visited the
ins tute and met faculty members.She addressed
students and urged them to imbibe divya (divine)
virtues so that India retains its supremacy in Vedic
values. She promised to aid the eff orts of Prarambh
SIASTE in all ways whether monetary or infrastructural
so that the Ins tu on might develop in the way it was
envisioned by DSE. She also revealed how Gurukal
way of life and Aryan history shaped her a tude and
this could help all in restructuring their lives to avail
maximum benefi ts.

EDUCATIONAL TOUR
Educa onal tour of Barefoot College, Tilonia; RIE,
Ajmer; Pushkar; Ajmer Sharif and Amer Fort by the V
Semester students was done during 05-09 Nov 2019
under the supervision of Dr. Lokendra Kumar Ojha,
Assistant Professor (Chemistry) , Mr. Sumer Singh

STATE INSTITUTE OF ADVANCED STUDIES IN TEACHER EDUCATION
PRARAMBH
Assistant Professor (English). The purpose of the
tour was to sensi ze students regarding the working
and administra on of RIE, Ajmer and exposure to
cultural richness of India. In Tilonia village solar self-
sustaining work projects are undertaken by literate,
semi-literate foreign women who are guided and
tutored by the local women who previously trained
here. The students visited various work sta ons
where self-help group of women were making solar
cookers, lanterns, and other items like torches hot
plates and heaters. Barefoot School is the name of
this project that serves as a milestone in the fame of
Ajmer.
The Orienta on Program at RIE, Ajmer was conducted
by Prof. K.V. Rath, who enlightened the group about
the development of RIE's in India. Then the students
went for watching exhibi on on teaching learning
material. The students of B.Ed and M.Ed had made
the models on various subjects .A er that, the group
visited e-learning centre at RIE where ICT, Learning
trends and use of ICT in educa on were discussed.
Students went for a visit of various Labs viz. Green
Chemistry, Zoology and Maths lab in the campus .The
library visit was also undertaken.
In the valedictory session the students were
addressed by Prof. S.V. Sharma, Principal of RIE,
Ajmer and it was preceded by an interac on session
na ve students. A er that visit to Zoological Park was
undertaken. In evening the team went to Pushkar to
witness the religious harmony and mul -culturalism
of Ajmer. On the last day of tour Amer Fort visit was
done to witness the past and architectural glory of
Rajputana. This tour was a surprise and revela on
to students as they came to know not only about
educa onal and administra ve structure of RIE but
also the botanical richness. Rajasthan with its heroic
cum historic background and never say die a tude
against clima c odds captured the imagina on of
Prarambhians who bowed to its magnifi cence in awe
and promised to carry and spread its message of
religious harmony wherever they serve.
INTERNSHIP OF FINAL YEAR STUDENTS
Internship is an integral and most important stage
of teacher training programme and in an integrated
course.It becomes the stepping stone on which
complete structure of educa onal success depends.
In ins tu on the four year integrated course has
an internship program designed to support the
development of skills and ap tude of teacher trainees
so as to mould them into teachers of choice not
chance products. Various schools were selected and
allo! ed to trainees for fi ve weeks in the semester.
Micro teaching skills are polished through mock
sessions and simula on techniques in the ins tute it
self. The complete working of schools: administra ve,
fi nancial and curricular is observed and monitored in
ini al stage. Then trainees are provided classroom
teaching sessions as per their choice of subjects in
B.Ed.
Lessons are observed by Teacher Educators and
rated daily.The programme was coordinated by
Dr. Rohen Meetei and supported by Mrs. Monika
Choudhry, Mrs. Rajwan , Mrs. Anita, Mrs. Reena, Dr.
Seema Chillar, Dr. Sheetal, Dr. Savita, Mrs. Mukesh,
Mr. Vijay, Dr Lokendra Kumar Ojha and others. The
programme was launched with special emphasis on
skills and for this Director of ins tute took extra pains
to gain support of schools from Rohtak region. The
programme was a collec ve eff ort that culminated
in success and paved way for future performance on
designated pa ern.
POST INTERNSHIP CONFERENCE
Post Internship Conference regarding refl ec ve
teaching prac ces and dire need of skilled staff
was held in ins tute on 30th November 2019.
The conference was graced by the presence of
Ms. Meghna Kaladi, associate to CM offi ce Good
Governance and Part of Saksham a fl agship project
of Government of Haryana. Worthy Director, Dr
Rishi Goel discussed about the linkage of teacher
educa on ins tute and schools in order to produce
best teacher for the na on. On this occasion,
Humana People to People India academic offi cials Mr.
Vedprakash Yadav and Mr. Elmer Vaerge were also
present to guide students regarding best prac ces in
teaching and learning. Addressing the internees and
group of principles of schools, the worthy director
emphasised on the role of four year integrated
educa on can play in elimina ng scourge of teacher
- pupils not a ending B.Ed. classes in various states
of India. He concentrated on the qualita ve aspect of
teaching profession. The head of Kendriya Vidyalya
Jhajjar appreciated, work ethics of the internees
and averred that employment of Prarambhians is
guaranteed by the strictest standards followed in
Prarambh. Mr. Elmer, Educa on Director, HPPI, was
bowled over by the dedica on and confi dence of
student teachers. Mr. Vedprakash, Board of Director,
HPPI,hoped that this ins tu on would inspire the
people to look forward to working as a teacher.
FACULTIES' ACHIEVEMENT
1. Dr. N. Rohen Meetei, Associate Professor in
Educa on, invited in SCERT, Gurgaon during 02-
03 Nov. 2019 for development of research tool.
