There has been some great flying weather here in the Antelope Valley; I hope everybody was able to make it out to the field to enjoy some of the great weather. I know I did. The Classic Pattern Contest went well. There were about sixteen participants. Approx- imately three hundred dollars was added to the AVTI General Fund. Tony Frackowiak CD’ed the event, Mike and Jean helped with scoring and Preston cooked. A big thanks to all who helped. On the agenda in December is the AVTI Christmas Party that will be held at Vince’s Pasta and Pizza on 30th Street West and Ave L. This will take place on December 1 at 6:00 PM. There will be fun and give-aways. Come out and join the fun. The AMA show is coming up on 6 Janu- ary. I will be manning the NASA booth. There will be several large scale aircraft on display. I hope to see everybody out there. Hopefully we have some more good flying weather. Keep Those Wings Level!!

What a beautiful last few days. There
has been some great flying weather here in the
Antelope Valley; I hope everybody was able to
make it out to the field to enjoy some of the
great weather. I know I did.
The Classic Pattern Contest went well.
There were about sixteen participants. Approx-

Frackowiak. There were 10 members present.
Treasurer’s report was read by Tony and ac-
cepted by majority vote. October meeting
minutes were accepted and voted

Tony Frackowiak reported on the contest re-
sults for the Classic Pattern Meet on 29 Oc-
tober
The progress report for the Northrop Design
contest was given.
New Business
Discussion on the Christmas Party that is

and Pizza

Meeting was adjourned by a Majority vote at
7:50 PM.
Notes from the Editor:
As you may have notices, I have been scan-
ning some older newsletters. I have old pag-
es from 1968 and up. Some of the older ones
were done using a ditto machine. I will con-
tinue to populate the future newsletters as it
is fun to see what the “Good ol’ days” were
like. Eventually, I will have everything ar-
chived online. This will be done after a re-
vamp of the website since it has been about
five or six years since that has been done.
An online payment system has been bounced
around a bit. This would be a pay-pal type
account. If there is solid interest in doing
this. I can start working on it.
Of course, this is all dependent on us keep-
ing our field. The way forward on the fields
is still fluid.
If you have pictures or stories, please email
me or give me a call. I would love to add
some more content.
