Our due diligence group provides high quality, thorough, and detailed assessments and has the experience necessary to use those findings to provide consulting services that positively impact our clients’ businesses. To meet the diverse due diligence needs of New Jersey businesses, TRC offers both PAs, Phase I ESAs, and combined PA/Phase I ESAs. PAs are performed in accordance with the NJDEP’s regulations and technical guidance and meet the eligibility requirements for an Innocent Purchaser Defense pursuant to New Jersey’s Spill Compensation and Control Act (N.J.S.A. 58:10-23.11, et seq.). Phase I ESAs are performed in accordance with the ASTM E1527-13 Standard Practice for Environmental Site Assessments: Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Process and meet the requirements of the USEPA’s “All Appropriate Inquiry” (AAI) Final Rule (40 CFR Part 312). TRC’s combined PA/Phase I ESA product provides compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations, and affords liability relief at both levels. TRC can also combine these products with our Property Condition Assessment services. Our due diligence specialists work with clients to develop project-specific approaches to meet distinct business strategies (e.g., high- risk versus low-risk tolerance). TRC provides environmental due diligence and transactional support services for a variety of property transactions including: purchase/ sale; refinance; redevelopment; lease; cessation of operations; and stock transfer.
