About the course

The course gives managers and site supervisors the knowledge and skills necessary to enable

them to recognise the hazards likely to be present in the construction industry and the actions

needed to control and manage them.

This 4 day program is accredited by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).

Who should register for this course?

Managers and senior staff who are required to manage efficiently and effectively in compliance

with both their organisations safety policy and current health and safety legislation.

The syllabus includes a range of health and safety topics considered to be essential core

knowledge for those people appointed to a management role in a construction environment.

Reactive Monitoring

Controlling Common workplace hazards

Course Duration and assessment

The course duration is 4 days which includes a written multi choice examination and a practical

assessment.

Successful candidates will be awarded an IOSH certificate in Managing Safely in Construction

All cancellations must be in writing and cancellation fees shall apply: cancellations made 4 weeks prior to the

course start date shall be charged AED 180 as administration fee; 50% of the total fees for cancellations made 2

to 3 weeks before the start of the course; 100% of the total fees if less than 2 weeks before the course start

date. TWI reserves the right to cancel the event in case of insufficient registration or illness of lecturers. TWI will
