Enhancement
Recruiters - Functionality to support Applicants
Introducing system changes to assist & allow Recruiters (HR Administrators) to provide
support to Applicants, who might experience issues when registering or applying for Job
adverts.
1. Recruiter changes
a. Recruiter login page
Login as a Recruiter, the login page will display the following message:
b. Client Profile - Publish Settings (New)
Enter the HR Administrator email address in the new Email Address field. This will then be used to display the HR Administrator / General Company email address on the Candidate Client Portal login page.

The following example message will display on the Client Candidate
Portal login page:
c. Publish a Job – Advert changes
When logging into SkillsMap & selecting to Publish a Job, the following NEW
option will be available to select on the Publish Tab:
- My Email On Advert
- Selecting this option, will use the logged in Recruiter email
address and display it on the Job Advert upon publishing the
Job Advert. The email address specified on the Recruiter
User Role will be used.

2. Capture Job - Options available for "Date Published Until"
Recruiters now have dropdown options available to select the Job Advert publish
until date. Date Published Until will default with the option “2 Weeks” when a
Recruiter selects to Capture a New Job.

- 4 weeks
- 6 weeks

3. Capture Job – Filter tab – General questions allow Links
Enabling the Recruiter to enter a link e.g. www.google.com for Job
Questionnaires, adding new Qualification, Skills & General questions.
Example of the Job Questions pop-up preview:
o using the option “Insert Link”
o Selecting the “Insert Link” option will open a new pop-up window. Enter
relevant information as required.

4. Applicants - Information messages
a. Login/Register page
The Login/Register page will display the following messages for Applicants
selecting to either Login OR Register:
o NOTE: The SkillsMap Candidate portal is not optimized for usage on
Mobile Phones OR Tablets.
o Any problems with registering/uploading your CV, please contact the HR
Administrator as per details available on the Job Advert OR Recruiter
email address.

b. Applicants uploading CV
The Upload CV page will display the following information message for
Applicants selecting to upload their CV’s:
o Please Note: scanned image documents are usually not parsed
successfully, please make sure to upload a valid document.

PLEASE NOTE: Bulk CV Upload done by Recruiters – the same message
was implemented.
5. Applicants – Gender option “Other”
The Personal Details and Preferences page now offers the Applicant the Gender
option “Other” upon registration.

6. Applicants – Application Email confirmation
Applicants will receive a confirmation email upon applying for a Job Advert.

7. Feeds – XML nodes added
The information below will display in the Job Advert feed, if used by the
Customer (used when wanting to display SkillsMap Job Adverts on your
Company website).
The following xml nodes for the following required fields were added:
o ClosingDate (Job end date)
o CountryCode (e.g. US)
o LangCode (Language Code)

Fixes The following bug fixes were implemented:
o Bulk CV upload: Unable to edit Applicant profile
o User roles: Unable to edit a user
