New House Textiles where inspiration meets tradition New House Textiles was founded in 1921 when Harold Stanier purchased his fi rst textile machine. Surrounded by the glorious Herefordshire landscape and situated on a bend of the River Wye at How Caple, New House operates from a 300 year old Tythe barn. Our lush woods, terracotta tiles, cobbled courtyard and wandering peacocks all provide inspiration for our design.Roller blinds are still one of the easiest ways to transform your home. We are famous for our gorgeous voiles and sheers, as well as textures and prints and have a well-chosen range of durable luxury plains and blockout fabrics.As well as fabric design, New House is well-known as a prolifi c designer of high-quality pulls and braids, designed to help you individualise your blind. All our fabrics and products are made in the UK, Sweden, Holland or Japan, and always to the highest environmental standards.

At New House we have developed a range of child safety devices, as loose blind cords can be a safety hazard for young children.

If your blind has a cord loop, always fi x it to the wall with a safety device keeping it out of the way of playful toddlers.

Our decorative cord traps are easy to install and made in England, from wood or solid aluminium.
