Swiss International expands with two

hotels in Lagos and Asaba in Nigeria.

The development brings the total number of hotels to 6 on the

African Continent in Nigeria (3), Morocco (2) and Sierra Leone (1)

Baar (CH) /Ras al Khaimah (UAE), Lagos (NGR), April, 2014 – This week Swiss

International added two new hotels in Nigeria after 6 months of the opening of

Swiss International Mabisel in Port Harcourt. The hotel, D’Palms at Lagos

International Airport will be re-branded to Swiss International effective June 1. The

Swiss Spirit Hotel & Suites Mardezok in Asaba will open its doors on July 1, 2014.

Swiss International D’Palms Lagos Airport is located in Ajao Estate, with an easy

access to Murtala Muhammed International Airport. The hotel is counting 60 rooms

and suites and will be expanded to 112 by January 1, 2015. Upon completion, the

Swiss International D’Palms Lagos Airport, will offer upscale and spacious

accommodation, a Swiss Café - Restaurant & Lounge, a TED & Co - Bar & Lounge,

an Eventives Center for Meeting and Events and an Inspirations Pool & Gym. The

outlets are all branded with Swiss International concepts.

Known as the “Big Apple” of Africa, Lagos is a multicultural city with high

development where the inbound travelers are increasing year on year.

Commenting on the event, the Owner of D’Palms Airport Hotel in Lagos said: “we

have been looking for an international brand where we can be different from our

fellow hotels in Lagos, which license system is offering our Management team the

right level of coaching through which we can exceed the guests expectations.” An

European General Manager will be appointed shortly and all the staff will undergo

extensive training from the Swiss International Business school.

Swiss Spirit Hotel & Suites Mardezok in Asaba, will be the first and only

internationally recognized branded hotel in the capital of Delta State in Nigeria. The

hotel will offer a “Swiss Café, Restaurant and Lounge”, a “BOX Meeting & Events”

and an “Inspirations Swimming Pool”

Located on the Western edge of the majestic River Niger, Asaba hosts mainly the

UAC Nigeria PLC, known during the British colonial times as the Royal Niger

Company which was set up to stimulate trade and export to England.

Arc Ambrose Ukuhor, the Chairman/CEO of the Swiss Spirit Hotel & Suites

customers in July 2014.
