New Hope Clinic in 2015 - It has been a busy year here at NHC, with many things to be thankful for! Over the last year, New Hope Clinic has
provided over 13,000 free 30-day prescriptions, 2,800 medical visits, and 235 dental visits to nearly 950 patients and
had 115 attendees for diabetic education classes. We are also excited to announce that in 2015 we opened a satellite
clinic co-located with Brunswick Family Assistance Agency in Shallotte to better serve those from the southern end
of Brunswick County with limited transportation. Our dental clinic also began providing restorative and hygiene
appointments, in addition to continuing to serve those in need of extractions.
We have a genuinely supportive community! It takes all sorts of help to ensure those in need have access to
healthcare - 150 volunteers have given their time to support NHC’s operations this year. We also thank all of you
who helped with or attended our various fundraisers and events over the last year as well - Art With Heart, Go Jump
In the Lake, The Sunset Beach Concert Series, Listen Up Brunswick County Concert Series, Mike’s Garage Band
concert, and the many events other organizations hosted to benefit NHC and other worthy organization. Many
thanks to all who volunteered, donated, or simply spread the word about us to their community. We look forward
to continuing to have your support in 2016. Thank you again, and Happy Holidays!

Each and every patient receiving care
within the walls of New Hope Clinic is among
a unique population. They are a hardworking
class of citizens who earn too much to
qualify for Medicaid, yet not enough to
purchase private insurance. They have
difficulty physically working yet are not
officially disabled. They are the caretakers
for other family members. They are short-
term or long-term unemployed. They are
homeless or nearly homeless. Every story is
unique….we strive to find a way to help each
of them with some of their life struggles.
By providing basic medical and dental
care, diagnostic services and prescription
drugs to the low income, uninsured residents
of Brunswick County, with your help, we are
enhancing the quality of lives of those who
fall between the cracks of our healthcare
system.
Did you know that in addition to the
personal satisfaction of contributing to your
community, your gifts have real financial
benefits to you? New Hope Clinic is a
qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization
and donations are tax-deductible to the full
extent of the law. Did you know there are
many different ways to give? From legacy
bequests to lifetime donations and gifts in
memoriam to honor others; no matter how
you choose to contribute, your gifts will
become dental procedures and eye exams
and medications and a chance for a better
way of life for fellow citizens.
For more information on ways to help, call
(910) 845-5333 to speak with Sheila Roberts,
Executive Director.
