“Entrusted a study of 2 timothy” (Women’s Study)

Video Based Series by Beth Moore Facilitated by Various Leaders - Rm 38 (Main Campus)

We were never meant to take this journey of faith alone or in secret. God has entrusted us with the great and mighty gift of the gospel, something too precious and life-giving to keep to ourselves. Beth will encourage you to guard what God has entrusted to you, further His kingdom by sharing Christ with others, and pour into future generations just as Paul once mentored Timothy. Because in this journey of joy and hardship, we need each other to stay the course and live lives of faithfulness. Reserve your seat by calling the church office at 859-341-5330.

“Unfolded....The Story of God” (Men’s Study)

Video Based Series By Eric Geiger Facilitated By: Rev. Drew Oakley & Rev. Chad Brandt - Rm 12 (Main Campus)

Most men know specific Bible stories, but do they know the overarching story of the Bible? While the Bible is a collection of 66 books, the reigning theme that still holds eternal implications for our lives today is God’s powerful story of redemption. Unfolded will help you explore this story of a God who loves us, longs to be known by us, and ultimately invites us into His story. Though there are many heroes in the Old and New Testaments, you’ll discover the one true Hero of our faith: Jesus.

Benefits: Discover the main story of the Bible, not just the stories within Understand the message of salvation that ties together the Bible’s characters and events Help you build your life around the greatest story human history has ever known Be equipped to share the gospel with your family Grow your biblical literacy with in-depth study

“Why I Believe” (Note: New Study)

Answers About Claims of the Christian Faith 12 session study by Chip Ingram

Facilitated by: Dr. Kelly McClendon & Rev. Joe Boone - Rm 11/13 (Main Campus)

What happens when we die? Can miracles be explained? Is there really a God? Answers to questions such as these are as varied as they are confusing, and spring from a plethora of mystical belief systems. But the fact is, we can know the truth. There are solid, logical answers to satisfy the heart and mind of those who are seeking.

In this series, Chip Ingram explores important topics such as the truthfulness and reality of the resurrection of Christ, the evidence of an afterlife, and the accuracy and intellectual feasibility of the Bible. If you or someone you know has genuine questions about issues at the core of human existence, this series is an excellent resource.

Reserve your seat by emailing Paula Coyle at [email protected]

Fall FunFest Saturday, September 30 - 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Immanuel Boone Campus (Sponsored by the NKY Children’s Ensemble/NKY School of Music of Immanuel)

This event is to help this choir attend a festival in Dallas, June 2018, but also to show the surrounding area that Immanuel is alive and well in Boone Co. There will be booths, vendors,

food trucks, games, prizes, etc. Plan to come and bring your friends or volunteer to help!

NOTE: We need help with face painting and photography. If you have these skills and would be willing to donate them to this event, please contact Toni Sheffer at 859-341-8555.

There were 36 volunteers from New Hope, Main and Boone Campuses, ranging in age from 4 to retirees who made this trip to serve like Jesus in Harlan County, Kentucky. The 26 foot truck was packed to the top with school supplies and snacks, personal hygiene items, food, bottled water, fresh produce and supplies for the carnival and construction crew.

We served 107 families, a total of 397 people fed at the food pantry and carnival at Caywood Elem School. The school resource officer, Cathy York, was overwhelmed when she saw all the school supplies and other items that had been donated to them again this year. At the school the construction crew built a new swing set, benches, teeter totter and the slide section was replaced for the playground. They also built an awning over the cafeteria door. We took food and 200 prayer cloths to the Cranks Creek UMC food pantry and to Pastor Steve Riddle to give out at Wacky Wednesday Kid’s along with stuffed animals.

We had inmates from the local jail that helped the construction crew. They worked in the rain and mud to help get the projects finished. The work boots they wore had holes in them and we felt this was a God Sighting! So we purchased work boots for them. They asked if we could get work boots for one of the guards because his work boots had holes in them. Cathy’s church purchased socks and small bibles for the inmates.

We are planning on returning next summer to Serve Like Jesus. If you are interested in joining in this mission blessed by God, keep your eyes open in January for the upcoming dates.
