COMPACT ENOUGH FOR YARD WORKNew Holland understands customers need a relatively compact tractor for yardduties. With a front loader fitted, T5000 tractors combine power and agility withrugged, easy to use performance. The cab height is as low as 2536 mm andoverall width is as narrow as 2012 mm. A compact T5000 can squeeze into thetightest spots.

LIGHT AND POWERFUL FOR VERSATILITY Compact and agile tractors offer more potentialperformance in the field. With a power to weightratio of 25.2 hp/ton, a T5060 packs the mostpowerful punch in its category. This performance is a key to versatility enabling aT5000 tractor to be equally adept at light top workduties to include mowing, top dressing andspraying. The T5050 and T5060 can be ballastedup to a maximum of 6800 kg. These tractors areideally suited to ploughing and heavy draft work.

OPTIMISED FOR VERSATILITYAll T5000 tractors can be specified with mid-mount hydraulic valves. Newly designed forfaster response, these valves can be matchedquickly and easily to a front loader. The result is atractor and loader combination that is perfectlybalanced. Ample hydraulic power of 61 l/mindelivers great performance with excellent controlensuring loads can be handled with mm perfectprecision.

STABILITY AND SAFETY IN TRANSPORTA modern tractor has to be safe and stable at higher transport speeds. All T5000 models are specified with a 40 kph transmission and with dynamic ridecontrol on EDC as further options. A choice of hydraulicor pneumatic trailer braking systems are offered foradded security in difficult terrain.

SHIFT RATIOS WITH POWER CLUTCHSeries T5000 tractors specified with the 24x24 Dual Command™transmission are offered with a Power Clutch that operates theclutch without the need to use the floor pedal. Operated via a pushbutton on the main transmission lever, Power Clutch can be used toshift through the 8 speeds in each of the three main ranges. When baling or mowing, swapping to a higher or lower speed ismade faster and easier for seamless productivity.

The new 24x24 Dual Command™transmission allows the operator toquickly change direction withoutusing the clutch. This makes thePowershuttle transmission ideal forloader work and for fast directionchanges on the headland.

FULL TRACTION FOR MAXIMUM PRODUCTIVITYThe new front axle on four-wheel driveT5000 tractors is fitted with a fullylocking differential. Not to be confusedwith limited slip or self-locking designs,the fully locking differential ensures fullpower is delivered equally to both frontwheels in adverse conditions. Linkedto the locking rear differential, thesystem ensures power reaches allwheels for optimum traction.

All T5000 tractors are powered by New HollandNEF turbocharged 4.5 litre four-cylinder engineswith advanced intercooling. They offer exceptionalperformance. Just look at the increase in powerand torque when compared to the outgoing TL-Aseries. Power of the T5060 is up 5% over theTL100A and torque climbs a massive 15% from 370 Nm to 425 Nm. Economy is also improved with fuel consumptiondropping to as low as 216 g/kWh for the T5050. To extend daily endurance the fuel tank for theT5050 and T5060 has a capacity of 167 litres.New Holland. PURPOSE DESIGNED FOR AGRICULTURE

LOW SPEED, HIGH PERFORMANCERated power is delivered at 2300 rpm, 200 rpm lessthan TL-A and maximum torque at 1300 rpm, 100 rpmless than TL-A. What is the benefit? Driveability for astart. Torque reserves are as high as 40%, a realT5000 bonus when working heavy loads in the fieldand in transport as there is a greatly reduced need toswap ratios in changing terrain.For lighter duties, a T5000 tractor can be operated ata lower engine speed than TL-A to reduce noise andimprove fuel consumption. For economy andperformance, T5000 has it covered.

A LIFT CAPACITY TO SUITYOUR NEEDSNew Holland has designed the rear linkage of T5000 tractors sothey are able to work with heavyequipment. T5000 can be specifiedwith twin assistor rams to boost liftcapacity to a massive 5740 kg. Toput it simply, a T5000 series tractorcan have the capacity to raise aload greater than its own standardweight. Tractors with EDC havedynamic ride control. This improvescomfort when transporting heavymounted equipment on the road.

MECHANICAL OR ELECTRONIC? YOU CHOOSESeries T5000 tractors can be specified with achoice of mechanical or electronic draft control. The mechanical system uses Flexion Bar™ lowerlink sensing for precise draft control and comesas standard with the Lift-O-Matic™ system. Thisproven New Holland system will lift and return an implement to work using a single control. The EDC electronic draft control option benefitsfrom a newly designed layout that is similar tothat used in the outstanding T6000 tractor series.The main raise lower control is positioned withina simple quadrant that is comfortable and easyto use. A single raise-lower switch makes itsimple to lift and return an implement to workduring a headland turn.

A TRANSMISSION TO MATCH THE APPLICATIONDual Command™ 24x24 offers a ‘Hi-Lo’ full loadPowerShift™. This allows the operator to reduce theselected speed by 15% and to increase torque at thewheels by 18%.

UP TO THREE REAR ANDTWO MID-MOUNT REMOTESUp to three remote valves can be specified, with two havingindividual flow adjustment that can be easily adjusted viacontrols accessed through therear cab window. In addition, twomid-mount valves with flow controlcan be fitted with an integraljoystick control. This can be usedto operate a front loader or frontlinkage.

PUTTING THE OPERATOR AT THE HEART OF THE TRACTOR

When looking over a T5000 tractor, it will becomeclear that the operator is put at the heart of thedesign. Both ROPS and cab models offer aspacious flat floor with suspended pedals. All controls are ergonomically positioned to make it easy to not just reach them but find and operatethem too. Even the rear window can be positionedto allow control box cables to access the cab easily.Cab models have slim pillars to allow the operatorto see all-round. There is a massive 5.3 m2 of glazingin the cab, so it should be no surprise that a T5000tractor fitted with a loader offers great visibilitythroughout the lifting range. Other features that can be fitted include fendermounted linkage and PTO controls, a wide choice of seating options and air conditioning.

A FRESH, BRIGHT INTERIOR Step into the cab of a T5000 tractor and the developmentover the outgoing TL-A series is clear. The interior isfinished in a lighter colour, and the dash features new dialsthat are even clearer and easy to read. Standard featuresinclude turn indicator warning buzzer, low fuel levelwarning light and a digital display of the tractor speed anddriver reminder of when service intervals are due.

LESS NOISE TO REDUCE FATIGUEIn-cab noise levels of T5000 tractors are 75 dBA.This has been achieved by engineering noise andvibration out of the engine and driveline as well asmounting the ROPS platform and cab on purposedeveloped isolation mounts.

PERFORMANCE MONITOR FOR MORE INFORMATIONThe comprehensive main dash can be fitted with aPerformance Monitor*. This adds details to include areaworked, distance travelled, hours completed in a day andarea covered per hour. In addition, the monitor will showwheel slip and the rear PTO speed. OUTSTANDING VISIBILITY All round visibility comes as standardwith T5000 Series tractors. Theergonomically styled dashboard doesnot hinder forward vision whenoperating with a front end loader.Visibility to the rear is also superb,making no compromise when usingrear mounted attachments.

EASE OF ENTRY AND EXIT Excellent ease of access providesunrivalled entry and exit to theplatform via wide, non slip steps andsensibly positioned grab handles tomake life easier when operating theT5000 tractor. With a flat unhinderedfloor space, entry and exit from eitherside is effortless.

BUILT TO REDUCE YOUR OPERATING COSTS

New Holland T5000 tractors may well have evolved from the existing TL-A series, butthey have undergone the same extensive testing as pioneered for series T6000 andT7000 tractors. This includes 8000 hours of endurance testing based around theextended 600 hour service interval that is now standard on all T5000 models. New Holland has also completely redesigned the electrics of T5000, using the latestadvances in wiring circuits to further enhance reliability.

LONGER SERVICE INTERVALS. SHORTER BILLS All T5000 models are engineered to have 600 hour engine serviceintervals using conventional oils. This is the longest routine serviceinterval in the industry, and 20% longer than the standard 500 hoursoffered by leading competitive designs. The extended service intervalhas been tested to ensure there is no compromise in performance orlongevity. Choose New Holland to save money and downtime.

ENHANCED VISIBILITYSeries T5000 tractors can be specifiedwith powerful additional lights to allowsafe working in fading light. The extralights are positioned to allow the operatorto adjust them to suit the application. This can include adjusting the lights toenhance visibility when operating a frontloader. This makes working a silage blockcutter or loading a feed wagon on short winter days safer and moreproductive.

OPTIMISED FOR PTO WORKThe rear PTO has an independent drivelineto ensure maximum power passes to theimplement. Rear fender PTO buttonsallows stop and start control from eitherside. Robust and easy to operate, the PTOis offered with a choice of ground speed,540, 540E and 1000 PTO speed and withan in-cab speed selector. Both 6- and 21-spline PTO shafts are available.

IT IS THE DETAIL THAT MAKES T5000 SPECIALNew Holland has refined the way in which it manufactures its tractors. This lead todetail developments that make the tractorseasier to service. The fully opening enginehood is an example. Using a structuralsump is another. There are no chassis rails to obstruct maintenance access. All major filters are easy to reach.
