GARDEN VISITS MEETING Meeting held on Wednesday 11 th Decembe 2019 34 people attended. Everyone welcomed. Thank you to all for the lovely spread….such a selection! Sandra circulated sheets for people to sign up for trips next year: Little Ponton Hall for the snowdrops with a stop at Gates Garden Centre. Sandra had hoped to include a visit to Belton House but the opening times didn’t match with Little Ponton. Hammonds coach £15pp plus entry £8 which includes a coffee and biscuit. Total £23 on Wed Feb 19 th Arley Hall & Flower Festival, Cheshire Sun June 28 th . £25 – coach & entrance. Sandra has been investigating the Welsh holiday for next year. Unfortunately Michelle at Skills has been unable to get enough single rooms for us at the hotel in LLandudno. She is now trying a larger hotel near Chester. This would make Bodnant Gardens about 1hr 15mins away. Other possibilities include Plas Cadnant, Ness Botanical Gardens, Port Sunlight, Tatton, Trentham. Date will depend on availability but sometime in July. Graduation Plant Sale Tuesday December 17 th. 10:30am-2pm The RHS Affiliation £35 is due in February.
