New ePrivacyseals are „GDPR-ready“ –compliant with the EU General DataProtection RegulationOnly a couple of weeks after the EU General Data Protection Regulation(GDPR) has been finalized, ePrivacy has already adapted its privacy seals tothe new EU legislation. The seals ePrivacyseal DE – GDPR ready andePrivacyseal EU – GDPR ready are developed on the basis of our existingseals. But the criteria catalogs for the audits include now – besidesthe currently applicable German and EU law – the new GDPR. Thus ourePrivacyseals already guarantee compliance with the law which will beapplicable in all EU member states from 25 May 2018 on.
