Attaching The Radio to railHook the top flange on the radio bracket onto the rail

upper flange and swing down so it is flush on the rail

and the retaining bolt engages into the rail slot. Slide

the radio to adjust spacing with adjacent radios as

required (min 7mm no fan or no space with fan.

Tighten the retaining bolt with a deep

13mm socket to allow the nut to sit in the

slot on the radio bracket. Torque the radio

bracket bolt to 22 Nm.

Install Rail on Wall

3. Insert plugs or an expander bolt into the

hole. (Plugs or expander bolts are not

delivered with the unit)

4. Position the rail over the holes and

fasten with screws using the appropriate

torque. Make sure that the bolts are

securely fastened.

Install Radio SFP Modules

1. Remove the protective cap from the optical

cable 1 connector on the Remote Radio Unit.

2. Important: Verify with material or site records

that the SFP is the correct type and part

number. Contact support for help if required.

3. Insert an SFP module with the latch opened into

the SFP receptacle on the Radio connector then

lock in place by raising the latch.

4. Replace the protective weather cap for hoisting

or if cable is not ready.

5. Repeat this procedure for each Remote Radio

as required.

New Jumper connections

• 4.3-10 Key features

• Excellent RL and PIM performances independently from

the torque applied or mechanism used

• High screening efficiency

• Electrical contact protected against accidental hits

• Compactness: the connector is fitting in 1 inch flange

(25.4 mm)

• Low weight (60% lighter compared to bigger RF

interfaces)

• 3 possible mechanical connections (screw, hand screw

and quick lock) on 1 universal female connector

• IEC standardization

Installing Fan units

1. If required remove the plugs in the radio mounting

holes.

2. Secure the Fan to the side cover. (Alternately the fan

can be installed after the cover)..

3. Orientate the fan unit as shown and slide into place

over the cooling fins of the radio.

4. Secure with the 4 retaining screws and Torque the four

screws to 6 Nm with the Torx 20 driver.

5. Plug the fan cable into the Fan connector on the radio
