Multi Function Transmission
The newly developed transmission control represents the beating heart of transmission. The hydraulically operatedgear shifting with proportional valves allows precise clutch operation. For each gear change, the control unitperforms a monitoring function to ensure that the specified shift curve is adhered to, and readjusts the shiftpressure applied to the clutches accordingly. This result in smooth gearshifts under load without tractioninterrupts. It also prevents standstills, sudden load changes or torque peaks during operation such as steep hilldriving with full load. In addition, there is the option for the driver to make manual gearshifts.
