NLA Ideas Competition

BRINGING PEOPLE TOGETHER TO SHAPE A BETTER CITY

NOTESLondon’s streets account for 80 per cent of London’s public spaces. This free NLA breakfast talk will examine what is being done to improve the experience of moving around the capital. Following TfL’s key work after the launch of the Roads Task Force in 2013, how does the Mayor view London’s streets and how much do we understand the predicted impact of major regeneration and infrastructure schemes such as Crossrail on our streets? Can London’s streets provide good public realm given the context of an ever-expanding population?
