Overview

The local SEO campaign for NeuroSpine Institute has begun with the creation and optimization of Meta-information for the website, a thorough keyword analysis, and basic set up of site optimizing features (i.e. Google places for business, Google analytics, etc.).

We prioritized the optimization of the content page Meta data. This is the data about the page content that search engines use to index pages. It is also often used on the search engine search results pages as the title and description of a webpage. For each page we added keywords relevant to the page content, a title, and a brief description. This information is extremely important for search engines, but the results will be gradual. This month we added keywords and information for 14 pages and will continue to make changes and additions to the remaining pages over the next month as making changes gradually improves search engine rankings for the website.

In the next month you should expect to receive pins from Google, Bing, and Yahoo. There will be a few calls to verify your location that you will receive warning about before they happen. We will continue to refine the on page optimization strategy, providing you with recommendations for keyword focuses within content. We will continue registering you for directories as well as assessing the effectiveness of keywords.

In NeuroSpine’s Google Analytics report, we shared data on the site’s visitation statistics and traffic sources. Examining NeuroSpine’s visitation statistics we can see that the website is used by about one and half more new visitors than returning visitors. In the coming months we hope to gradually increase the number of new visitors to the site through a variety of local and organic SEO strategies. It is also good to note that the bounce rate for NeuroSpine’s website is around 54%. The bounce rate represents the percentage of visitors who enter the site and leave the site rather than continue viewing other pages within the same site. As a rule of thumb, a bounce rate that is in the 50 percent range is often seen as average for most service based sites. In the coming months, we would like to identify concrete steps that can be taken to reduce NeuroSpine’s bounce rate. NeuroSpine’s sources of site traffic are also very positive at this stage in the SEO process. Examining NeuroSpine’s traffic source data, we can see that a majority of traffic spawns from organic web searches. In the coming months we plan to increase traffic from both organic web searches as well as site referrals.

Following the Google Analytics report is the competitor comparison report. The report compares NeuroSpine to KeiperSpine.com along the lines of rankings in major search engines for specific search phrases.

Throughout the campaign we plan on improving your visibility in search engines and a thorough optimization throughout the site. Next month we plan optimizing more content pages and researching the keywords in greater depth to find the right keywords that work well with your site and its content.
