ELIA NEU/NOW Festival 2015 – Call for Project NominationsThe European League of Institutes of the Arts (ELIA) is pleased to announce the call for artistic projects for the 7th ELIA NEU/NOW Festival; NEU/NOW LIVE will take place 9 - 13 September 2015 in Amsterdam.

The ELIA NEU/NOW Festival is an innovative international platform and showcase for talented graduating students and recent graduates – of Higher Arts Education Institutions and Universities across Europe and beyond – to present themselves to a wide international audience.

The ELIA NEU/NOW Festival is:• anonlineandaliveeventthatpromotesartistic

excellence through cutting edge presentations and activities featuring artwork across a wide range of disciplines;

• anopportunityforselectedemergingartiststoshow their work, meet each other, and create new international partnerships;

• aspacewhereinformedaudiences,producers,and curators can see excellent artists and innovative projects coming from art schools and universities across diverse geographies;

• aforumwhereartists,producers,curators,cul-tural operators, and policy makers can discuss future developments in the arts and share views on the cultural role of higher arts education institutions;

• ameansofbringinganewgenerationofupco-ming artists to the attention of an international audience.

From the nominated projects, a maximum of 150 projects will be presented online at www.neunow.com, which is widely accessible to arts professionals and the public. A selection of 35 – 40 projects will be pre-sented in the ELIA NEU/NOW LIVE Festival 2015 that will take place 9 – 13 September in Amsterdam at the cultural hotspot Wester-gasfabriek (www.westergasfabriek.nl).

Who can participate?The ELIA NEU/NOW online Festival is open to arts students in their final year of study and recent graduates (within one year of graduation) of Higher Arts Education Institu-tions across Europe and beyond, which are ELIA members, ELIA associate members or ELIA non-European members.

The call for entry to this competition is also open to members of the following partner networks:AEC - Association Européenne des Conservatoires, Académies de Musique et Musikhochschulen CILECT - The International Association of Film and Television SchoolsCUMULUS - International Association of Universities and Colleges of Art, Design and Media

Artists (as individuals or groups) are nomina-ted by their (former) institution within one of the following five categories:
