She tried something
different, and got different
results.
I am soooo excited! My kids are thrilled about Edmodo. I have a student who is not taking medication for ADHD and he sits still to add to the stories I have online. He wanted to stay inside for recess because he wanted to add to it. Another student went home and posted to the site. She read new instructions I gave and joined the reading discussion group. I saw that she had joined so I sent her a question to reply to about author's purpose from a story that we read today. She replied less than 5 minutes later and had some great insight and explained why she enjoyed the passage that we read. This has really brightened my day. It makes me feel a lot better that I can teach through (edmodo), especially with that student that is having trouble controlling himself!
