As a part of the action/2015, HelpAge International and Ageing Nepal

successfully participated in the Thunderclap calling for SDGs to include all ages

on Friday, May 22, 2015.

Objective

To reach out to communities with the message of “LEAVE NO ONE

BEHIND” in Sustainable Development Goals.

Activities Carried out

The team carried out the following activities to mark the Thunderclap as a part

of action/2015.The team visited different communities and worked with all age

groups.

1. Prepared banners

The team members prepared banner with the “LEAVE NO ONE BEHIND”

to spread the message.

2. Worked with elderly group

The team visited a group of elderly with the message of Thunderclap.

3. Visited Old Age Home

The team members also visited Pashupati Old Age Home with the message

of action/2015 to celebrate Thunderclap. This is the largest old age home of

Nepal which is run by the government.

4. Visited NGOs

Team members also visited local NGO, Senior Citizens Society and made

them aware of the purpose about SDG and the importance of

action/2015Thunderclap.

5. Used Social network
