Public Safety ModelPolice, fire, & ambulance service under a public safety concept

Three distinct service divisions of police, fire, and emergency medical services are merged into one operational and management team

This type of organizational structure provides the public with seamless coordinated services from all divisions


Emergency Medical ServicesCottage Grove is also unique in that we provide emergency medical services (E.M.S. - Paramedic Ambulance Service), utilizing police officer paramedics and firefighter paramedics in a joint service

Fire Duty CrewsThe Fire Department runs a Duty Crew twenty-four hours a day, this Duty Crew is responsible for station duties, EMS and fire calls

CITE UnitThe mission of the Cottage Grove Police Department's Criminal Interdiction and Traffic enforcement (CITE) Unit is to make a positive difference in the lives of all citizens in our community. Members of CITE will remain proactive and responsive to the needs of the community as we partner in the reduction of crime and traffic related incidents.


RAIDS OnlineRAIDS (Regional Analysis and Information Data Sharing) Online works with any RMS to allow law enforcement to share crime data with the public through an easy-to-use online crime map and analytics dashboard. Coming soon in 2014.
