Sincerely,

For 123 years, Neighborhood House has helped Utah families get the hand up they need in order to break the cycle of poverty in their lives. We do this in a multitude of caring, compassionate, and affordable ways. The first is by providing care for children 15 months to 12 years old during the day. Our services are provided year-round, for eleven hours daily, allowing working parents the time they need to succeed in their jobs. All children receive two meals and a snack daily, so no one goes hungry in our house. We focus on academic support, socio-emotional skills, and intentional project based learning, ensuring every child has the chance to succeed. We help build up the next generation while giving parents peace of mind by providing high quality services on a sliding fee scale based on their ability to pay. The second thing Neighborhood House does is offer safe, engaging care for adults. We provide door-to-door transportation, hot meals, and activities to keep adults strong and independent. Our goal is to promote aging in place, so loved ones stay with their families longer. Neighborhood House Adult Day Services focuses on dignity, respect, and fun for clients, as well as much needed respite for caregivers, at a price their budget can afford. Since 1894, Neighborhood House has broadened its services, provided community resources, and helped families find hope in their future. None of this would be possible without the dynamic support of staff, volunteers, board, and donors – like you. Thank you for fueling our legacy with your generosity. Your gift will help Utah families work toward financial stability, give children the opportunities they deserve, and ensure dignified care for adults, in the community that needs us most.
