ABOUT NEEMRANA

Neemrana is an ancient historical town in Alwar district of Rajasthan.

Situated at 122 km from Delhi, 80km from Iffco Chowk Gurgaon on the Delhi-Jaipur highway in Behror tehsil. Neemrana comes under the Delhi NCR region and it is an industrial hub.

It is also a part of the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) and the Delhi-Mumbai freight corridor

Its distance from Indira Gandhi International Airport is just 100 kms.

It is famous the world over for Neemrana Fort and artistic step wells (Baoris) like Abhaneri.

Nearby tourist attractions include Siliserh Lake, Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary, India's first Zipline Tour and many more.

CONNECTIVITY

PRESENT CONNECTIVITY: Neemrana has excellent connectivity through the NH-8; since it is

half-way through Delhi and Jaipur. FUTURE PROJECTS: Alwar, which is considered as the Gateway of Rajasthan, will soon

be connected to Delhi via a high-speed train, running at 160 km/hr on the lines of bullet trains, which will surely benefit Neemrana and all nearby industrial areas.

The important industrial area of Rajasthan - Bhiwadi, which is at the confluence of Delhi-Haryana and Rajasthan is being connected to the Railway network via the Delhi-Mumbai freight corridor. Neemrana will get maximum benefits from it.

CONNECTIVITY

After the IMT Manesar Toll, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has already started building 14 flyovers at every 5km, from IMT Manesar to Neemrana. This is expected to cut down on the travel time considerably. Also, the highway is being widened to eight lanes and this, along with the elimination of all red lights, is expected to reduce the travel time from IGI airport to just about 90-100 minutes.

Construction of a Super Express highway, parallel to this eight-lane expressway is also being planned which will pass through Neemrana.

EDUCATION HUB

Neemrana is being transformed into an education destination with nearly 38 universities receiving sanction to open their institutes there.

Cargo Airport

The government is planning to set up a new airport city near Neemrana in Rajasthan, between Delhi and Jaipur.

Over the last few years, Gurgaon has been expanding in the direction of Neemrana, with areas like Manesar already becoming hubs of industrial and housing activity. The new 'aerotropolis' that will be spread over 24 sq kilometers or 2,400 hectares of land is expected to further quicken pace of expansion and growth in this area as well as become a gateway to the tourist destinations of Rajasthan.

The project will cost approx. 4000 crores and will include Passenger & Cargo traffic handling, Business Parks, Hotels, Distribution centers etc.

JAPANESE ZONE

The Japanese zone spreads over around 1200 acres and expected investment by Japanese Companies is Rs. 3000 Crore.

Japanese companies have set up units in around 70 percent of the area.  Rest 30 percent part is expected to be filled up soon.

At present, Japanese entrepreneurs have set up more than 40 industrial units. As of March, 2011, 59 projects were under implementation with Japanese loan

assistance and the amount committed was about Rs 58,000 crore. A unit of the world’s largest steel making company – Nippon Steel – is also

under construction in Neemrana where more than Rs 300 crores is expected to be invested.

Daikin Airconditioning India Pvt Ltd, world's second largest airconditioning systems brand has its unit in Neemrana with a capacity to produce 20,000 variable refrigerant volume units and 1,800 chiller units per annum.

KOREAN ZONE

An MOU to formalize an agreement to set up the zone was signed between The Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) and South Korean Trade Promotion Agency (Kotra)  on March 11, 2013.

The exclusive Korean Zone covering approximately 250 acres is being set up at Ghilot in Neemrana, which is a fast developing industrial area in the NCR.

Many South Korean Companies especially the automobile parts and electronic components manufacturers, have shown their interest to set up production units in Neemrana, because in future Neemrana will become the biggest auto hub in the country.

Apart from the Japanese and Korean Zones, Taiwan and Italy are also keen to have their country specific zones in Neemrana and have already visited Neemrana and are in discussion with RIICO.

RIICO INDUSTRIAL ZONE Neemrana would soon emerge as the ceramics and  glass hub of the

country. The large scale availability of all the raw material required by the industry are found in  Rajasthan. Rajasthan Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) will set up Ceramic and Glass hub in 250 hectares at Gilot in the industrial area of Neemrana, bordering DMIC, with piped natural gas.

An Export Promotion Industrial Park (EPIP) spread over 210 acres is another project where some plots have already been occupied by industries.

  All infrastructure facilities will be provided by RIICO like roads, CD

works, storm water drains, street lights, water supply, power, banking, post office, fire fighting etc.

RIICO INDUSTRIAL ZONE

RIICO is also putting up large industrial estates extending 2000 acres called Neemrana Phase III. The Rajasthan Government has approved 1,100 acres of land to RIICO for a large industrial estate which would also have a residential colony with educational, medical and recreational centres.

Liberty Whiteware is setting up a sanitaryware plant in Neemrana at an investment of Rs. 100 crore.

Pallavi Copper Pipes and AMD Metplast are also setting up their units, while facilities of Parle, Ginni, Prena Syntex, and Rochee Breweries are already operational.

RIICO INDUSTRIAL ZONE Hero MotoCorp will start manufacturing plant in

Neemrana by first quarter of FY 2014 with 400

crore investment and will have an initial

installed capacity of 7.5 lakh units per annum.

RIICO has already provided about 600 acres of

land to Honda Siel Cars India Ltd (H.SCIL) to

set up its second manufacturing plant in

Khushkhera near Neemrana.

RESIDENTIAL TOWNSHIPS

The Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (DMICDC), has initiated the project with the Rajasthan government for developing a large township known as ‘Global City’ at Khushkheda-Bhiwadi-Neemrana along the 1,483 km industrial corridor. This will be among the seven cities DMICDC is planning along the corridor.

The Global City will spread over 40,000 acres in the Shahjahanpur-Neemrana-Behror area. This city will have a capacity to house 1 million people and will also have a cyber city, a medicity, a knowledge city, an entertainment city, a SEZ city, a world trade city, and a bio-diversity park.

One of the major component of this global city would be a major link road between Neemrana and Bhiwadi that would reduce the travel time to the global city from Jaipur.

Top realty players like Ashiyana Housing, Eldeco, Anantraj, Annapoorna, Ashadeep, APTP Group and Nemaha Central etc, have already launched their projects here.

RESIDENTIAL TOWNSHIPS

Konichiva Builders is coming up with South City, an integrated project on 1,30,000 sq. metres of land, combining commercial and retail spaces. Located on NH 8 at Behror, it promises to be a world-class township.

Ashiana Housing is developing 280 residential units in their Ashiana Greenhill project in Neemrana.

M-Tech Developers has launched Camellia Valley in Neemrana on 200 bighas of land, with options of plots and villas in a township equipped with banquet halls, tennis court, swimming pools, medical and school facilities. Villas measuring 2500 sq. ft are on offer.
