Project Description

The goal of Amex IDN Analysis Factory is to provide proper bench marks to the build team at the time of

actual migration from Sybase database to Teradata. It captures the core applications information say the Event

Engine attributes associated with every stored procedure and their lineage in a way to attain the sequential

execution of processes which reflects the business flow. In order to ensure seamless migration by finding those

processes which interact with the existing Sybase system and amending those to fit in to Teradata compliantsystems

Role and responsibilities:

* Coordinate with offshore analysis team for analysis and final deliverables

Title Inventory Business Intelligence (IBI)

Project Description

The Inventory DWH is critical functional network of entities in the AVON supply chain. Inventory project is aimed

to act as the single point of definition for finding the inventory of any Item at any location throughout all the

geographical markets. It Extracts-Transforms-Loads facts and Dimensions like Snapshot-data, SKUPARAMS,

SKUPROJECTIONS, and SUMMARY. By this end users can identify the Key Performance Indicators KPI.

"INVENTORY BI (IBI) & GLOBAL SIZE OF LINE (GSOL) ": Develop and maintain Inventory data for every

item type (formulated ingredients, components, sub-assemblies, finished goods and raw ingredients) for all

the countries in which Avon has its footprint. Direct selling is key contributor to Avon's sales. Considering

global nature of supply chain organization within AVON, this project will be foundation for many more strategic

projects within Supply Chain.

These output will be carried out in the form of static reports which were in the form of excel and online reporting

through Micro strategy.

Role and Responsibilities

Writing Procedures and packages to implement the Business Rules..

Worked on moving the files from one server to different servers using FTP. Wrote control files in SQL* Loader to load the data from files into the database tables.

Maintained documentation of the procedures and performed unit testing to make sure the desired result is

achieved.

Involved in System maintenance, functionality addition and improvement.

Daily Client interaction on the requirement and updating the status of the requirements.

Worked on incidents and do the in-depth analysis of the issue and send a report to the manager about the
