Our entire Association is proud of your dedication, hard work, and investment you have made in yourselves. We had so much fun on Friday, April 7th, at our NAIFA Day At The Races Event. Thank you to everyone that joined us! It is always nice to unplug and have a good time with friends. See page 3 for pictures! As you are aware, the DOL Fiduciary Rule has been delayed for 60 days and it will not take effect until June 9, 2017. Thank you, NAIFA Advocacy!!! This team is working very hard to make sure your voice can be heard to protect your business practices. Make sure to tell your non-NAIFA member peers how important it is to be a member of NAIFA, and the current outcome of the original DOL Fiduciary Rule is only one example of what NAIFA can do for them!

Congratulations to Heidi Adams & Shannon Hannappel!!!

Heidi and Shannon graduate from the 2017 LILI Program this Wednesday, April 19th. They have spent the last six months being transformed through exciting adventures, stepping out of their comfort zones, and facing new challenges in identifying, mastering, and developing themselves, each other, and everyone around them. LILI Mission: The NAIFA Leadership in Life Institute (LILI) develops leaders by fostering personal growth, enhancing business practices and developing skills necessary for effective leadership.

Why Advisors Should Attend the Congressional Conference The NAIFA Congressional Conference takes place May 23-24 in Washington, D.C. For any NAIFA member, taking part in the NAIFA Congressional Conference is a win-win situation. When you are in the insurance industry, you do not often realize how legislative initiatives can affect your business. 2017 LUTCF Scholarship Program NAIFA and the College for Financial Planning (CFFP) are proud to announce that submissions for the 2017 LUTCF® Scholarship Program are now being accepted. Each scholarship recipient receives tuition credits for each of the three courses that comprise the LUTCF® designation program. The deadline for submissions is May 1, 2017.
