Some general lessons learnt
1. General level of understanding/knowledge about neZEH in (SME) hotel industry very low.
2. Comprehensive & independent energy audits seldom done.3. More qualified technical expertise in neZEH issues needed4. Need for better funding sources/incentives5. “Find the passion” - strong motivation to achieve neZEH
status decisive.

Conclusions so far…….• A high quality, independent Energy Audit followed by a logical,
measureable and targeted renovation rollout strategy are two central elements in achieving nezeh status.
• The challenges to this are financial incentives and professional expertise.
