NDENPP Status - Schedule

• FY10-14 (NOAA PPBES) – Baseline estimate provides limited NPP & NPOESS products

to continue the current NOAA missions that use POES/DMSP/EOS data

– 100% estimate provides for additional products, increase IT security, add NDE backup communications capability, and improve product integration with our customers

• Baseline products are those which will support NWP capability– CrIS/ATMS radiances– MIRS– VIIRS SST

• Introduction of NPP data/products to NCEP will be via JCSDA– Opportunity to extend success with AIRS, IASI– Opportunity to share progress with USN and

USAF partners• “NOAA Unique” products can be made available to non-

civilian OPCs on a non-interference basis
